I feel as if I have quit a lot of old bookmarks missing, when I browse on old webpages that I must have bookmarked, diigolet dialog is empty.

I synchronize Diigo with delicious as backup, so to be sure I checked delicious... and it was there.
But then again, I used to use delicious so maybe it was from before...

So just to be sure, I'd advise you to also Save to delicious

Agree - noticed the same problem and it is annoying.
Maybe it can be set in the general preferences?

As editing using the Diigolet updates the bookmarked time - it also gets re-submitted to the feed.
(I'm subscribed to my recent bookmarks - caus I often need to get back to stuff I've just added)
I generally edit tags using the Diigolet, that's where I see the content and know best which tags to use.

PS: line height is too small when writing here - it makes me want to add line breaks.

Can't see it either... So I added it to Yubnub.

An other thing I miss is the "most bookmarked sites" on profile pages.
That section enabled me to quickly see if the person is doing self promotion or spamming - to find out if I should accept him/her in my group.

    -------------------
    About Yubnub:

If you don't know about Yubnub, it worth checking it out.
Gains time and is my preferred search engine! Love it - such a smart idea! =D

There are several Diigo Yubnub commands http://yubnub.org/kernel/ls?args=diigo

To use, just add Yubnub open search - In Firefox just click in the searchbox menu Add "Yubnub search" http://yubnub.org/documentation/describe_installation
and when you want to see an about page:

enter: dabout URL (eg.: dabout http://google.com)

If you want to bookmark a page, enter: diiadd URL

    If want to search...

    Diigo, enter: diigo keyword

Your Diigo Library, enter: mydiigo keyword

    Google, enter: g keyword

    Yahoo, enter: y keyword

    Wikipedia, enter: wiki keyword

If you want to find a command to search, for example bing.com. enter: ls bing.com

    ...etc.

The thing is, you have to remember each command ( that 'g' is for google... and all the others)

    | Here's a set of Diigo bookmarklets , also the view the about page

I can't see some content - says I've got a plugin missing - though I've got all the major ones.
    Plugin Finder Service

    Source code shows:

    HTML-2.html*

PS: Had to put the above as image - I tried to encode it, put in 'code' and 'pre' tags but the code was always renderred. How to you post code here?

    What is it?

@Graham Thanks! Gives me a reason to try pastebins, - which I had bookmarked but never thought of using (as generally I manage to directly write code)

for the moment I would safely stay WYSIWG. if abused, it becomes visually disturbing (Spammers ruin it.)

The plugin issue has resolved it's self - I can now view the page o_O ??

Seems I not the only one : I can't find my way around Diigo4.0!

Some importart links are missing, like:

HOW DO I GET TO MY PROFILE PAGE FROM MY LIBRARY?

Before I used to click in the top links on my name but now it's not a link anymore.

Maybe there is one but I didn't see it and I do consider myself as not having any accessibility problems to get around.
  • yc c

    Oh yes - sorry =O
I was hoping my name would be the link, like before.

Still I do have difficulty getting where I want.

So maybe you can tell how to get a a bookmark page (http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/URL) from the library?

For now I find myself opening the link and using my bookmarklet http://message.diigo.com/message/isbookmarked-diigo-bookmarklet-658330

Search Diigo users of interest: advanced - 26 views

@Graham - Tried to reproduce how I came here but, forgot... I just fell on it somehow. Again I can't find this page without using my local bookmark. This is the kind of page you usually get to by clicking somewhere near any search fields - from any Diigo page - but I don't see any. How do you get to 'user search'?

I think it's strong enough. This depends on the quality of the monitors.
Too strong highlights also can be disturbing.
Maybe the intensity of the colors could be chosen as options?

Fytch Review at ReadWriteWeb - Fytch Blog - 1 views

  • However, we like the way Fytch has implemented their service - a bookmarklet! Finally, a company that thinks the browser itself is the future, not another downloadable app.

HEY!! Maybe they don't know about Diigolet. Just the othet day I was thinking Diigolet is one of the strongest points about Diigo...
  •
I really think it should be highlighted on the homepage like Fytch - Installing an extension is a decisive influence in choosing a service. It's one of the most important reasons I use Diigo - I can't install the toolbar everywhere I go. Diigolet, a mention on the first page... I think is a A MUST!

How does cache work? - 29 views

Searched the Help pages but there's not mention of the diigo cache feature.

Furl used to have quit a powerful cache system which was an option.
    How does Diigo's work?
    How reliable is it?
How much time does it take for a page to be cached?

I would like to have backups w images... Any suggestion how I could do that?
PS: backupurl.com does not yet create accounts =(
