I don't think so, that could be an interesting feature

I think the only way now is to regularly batch edit the bookmarks of that tag
Browse the tag - > select all -> More actions... -> Convert to public

just a suggestion: Maybe a bit of a nuisance but if you need it, you could always try converting the feed to html

There are many tools out there, you could for example use:
    http://www.ponyfish.com to filter out topics
    then
    http://www.rss2html.com to convert to HTML

Generally all bookmark services and tools support HTML import

But it would be nice to have more export options: export from a group, export all bookmarks tagged..., export all bookmarks from date range... and this for all Diigo bookmarks, not just mine.

Nice! nice to see all these user contributed extras =)

Allways visible diigolet: how about just a simple frame version? Like diigo meta view?

Testing userscript... it's always the same problem: Diigolet does not work on all pages (eg.: frames, flash, sometimes with videos, at flickr, or when css z-index layer is too high)

Maybe it would help if we created a list of all places it does not work(?)

    BTW, who is rickfan?

Because I thought the same thing as you, I created some and thought I'd might as well also share them : http://chiton.net16.net/pages/diigo-bookmarklets.html

Sorry, I didn't digg. Just put the ones I use.
Now that Graham has posted many, I'll put those up on the same page.

    @Andy
If your not a toolabr user like me, maybe you would interested in using a service called queri.ac
It's like Diigo custom search but more powerful, or like Firefox smart search, and even more like yubnub.org
You can make yourself your private commands, supports bookmarklets

For now these are the Diigo commands that exist: http://queri.ac/ycc/user_commands/tag/diigo

Here's one that does many things: http://queri.ac/commands/1293

Community bookmarks (buzz/hot): recognising a bookmark - 34 views

You mean Search Diigo users of interest

In fact it's generally on the annotated link that I want to know most, and there not all show up.
like this one where 3543 users have bookmarked
I won't even think of searching for myself though all that!

I was thinking more like the 'save' button becoming 'edit'

    PS:
You'd think these are all the same, but they are not

OK, this topic seems to have not gotten any attention from Diigo employees...

At first I though that the 'Save' button could become 'Edit' like at delicious,
but even adding a 'MY other bookmarks from this site' will be a great help.

I lose so much time searching my bookmarks to find out if  I've already bookmarked a community bookmark.

Why I want to find out?

If I re-bookmark one I have already, it will either show up as new in the timeline,
or worse: it's not exactly the same URL and then I'll have two.
OK, some duplicates I won't mind, but I wouldn't want it to be more than 3%
= > I don't want to find myself opening a same URL by mistake several times.
And browsing 'Bookmarking history' or using 'Other bookmarks from this site'
is simply not an option if there are hundreds usernames.

Does this not disturb everybody that use community bookmarks for discovery?

PLEASE consider doing something... or tell me how I can quickly find my bookmark on a meta page like this

    @Graham Perrin
    > we don't need to see what we have already bookmarked; such bookmarks could be omitted.
?!! What do you mean we don't need it!?

    Temporary fix:
    Any ad blocker should do.
Do you use Greasemoney? I like adsweep script because it easy to tweek http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/40933

...or use the 'list all links' bookmarklet or Opera sidebar

But of course, it should be fixes at the source.

Why don't you try doing both?
The lists are quit nice for shearing a group of bookmarks: it enable to create a webslide, get it's own RSS feed, and set privacy (even if the bookmarks are public in your library)

Would be nice if these were proposed by Diigo or better, on the diigolet! View annotated/meta page View cache See other bookmarks of the same domain, About page (about.diigo.com) Can't post them directly here cause of javascript restrictions here Any others I could add?

Images are hot linked... just though that with all the activity, Diigo wouldn't mind ?? o_0 Of course, it should not be abused.

You mean like add a link ' Search this site'?
Technically it would be impossible for Diigo to index all the external sites (unless they create their own web indexing bot)
So that would mean add a 'Search this site' link that links to Google/Yahoo/Bing.
Like the external tools on the About | Diigo pages?

You could use this Search this site bookmarklet after opening the link.

    Yup!, I see them!
I had the opposite problem : I wanted to batch add a tag.
So in the tag editor I changed one tag to two tags, but they stayed stuck together as one tag.

This problem seem to have been resolved... hence your problem.
