Yes, I'm a volunteer moderator. -
Here's a Google cached copy of the missing topic (1048026):
http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:dfB6QMkcaaMJ:groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/1048026 up to and including post #5.
Unfortunately Google's cached copy does not include later posts within topic 1048026, so I can't guess the full content of post #9 (although it's likely that someone from Diigo said "We are working on the new version and hope to release it soon").

For all users, including those that have an installed version of Diigo:
* Post to Diigo includes recommended tags.
I guess that this feature is new to Diigo 4.0 beta. -
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/1668966#5 notes that version 4.0b166 of Diigolet now offers tags from the group dictionary.
The screen shot at http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/1675556 shows that Diigolet also offers recommendations from the personal dictionary.
Smart work, Diigo team - thanks!

Possibly coincidence, the very recently seen version 4.0b166 of Diigolet does offer tags from the group dictionary.
Hurrah! and thanks to Diigo team.
I don't know the difference between tags that are green and tags that are blue, but I'll make that a separate topic … and tag this topic as resolved.

Graham
Is anyone having problems with Diigolet? - 16 views

I see the same symptoms here, using both Safari 5.0 in Mac OS X 10.6.x and the WebKit nightly version 5.0 (6533.16, r60986).

Diigolet 4.0b14 seems to be OK now.
A different type of Diigolet, that's used for Diigo meta and annotated links, may be troublesome (see for example http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/1670456) so I'll leave this topic open for the moment.

Meta views, group meta views
http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fa.nnotate.com%2F?tab=comment&uname=grahamperrin is an example of a normal Diigo meta URL. This type of meta view is gained from within your library.
http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.waveprotocol.org%2Fdraft-protocol-specs%2Fdraft-protocol-spec?tab=comment&gname=collaboration is an example of a group meta view — note, the gname (group name) within the tail of the URL.
In Diigo 4.0 beta, there's no group interface from a bookmark to its group meta view. I typically take a normal meta URL and change it by hand (I could use TextExpander on Mac OS X to streamline the routine). Note that for private group work, the current Diigo group meta views may be risky; the UI is a mixture of group + public annotation. -
http://groups.diigo.com/group/document-wars/content/groklaw-digging-for-truth-977898 is an example of a group view of a bookmark.
You can't get this type of link unless you're a member of a group.
I typically make these URLs as short as possible, e.g.
http://groups.diigo.com/group/document-wars/content/977898

Toolbar 4.0.2 crashing IE8 on Windows 7 x64 - 41 views

No problem here using the RC of Windows 7 x64. From seven tabs I saved seven bookmarks in fairly rapid succession then copied (shared) each one to the sandpit group, http://groups.diigo.com/group/sandpit/content/tag/Diigo+985903+sandpit
-
Timed results of the last seven uses of the bookmark button and dialogue, when I shared each bookmark, one at a time, to the sandpit group (times are not local to me):

* in what way is this topic different from the others?
* are you using a 64-bit version of Windows when the problem in this topic occurs?

I don't have that problem. Using Safari in Mac OS X 10.6.x, 64-bit with meta URLs such as http://www.diigo.com/bookmark/http%3A%2F%2Fblog.chromium.org%2F2010%2F04%2Fnew-approach-to-printing.html?f=m&tab=comments&uname=grahamperrin

… is that the problem that you see?

Additional considerations following major upgrade to Diigo 4.0 beta:
* sidebar at left with Google Sidewiki
— but not confusing feature set of Sidewiki with feature set of Diigo
* overlay at right with bit.ly
* footbar (for want of a better expression) in Diigo Meta
* page comments always missing from a variety of Diigolet
— one that may be oriented to Diigo Meta, in which
drawing of highlights and sticking of notes is logically prevented
* all annotations missing from some annotated links
— maybe a dog food issue
* meta mixtures of public and group (sometimes private group) content
— keyword: aggregation

2. Post to Diigo
Bug
Direction is wrong: http://moderator.appspot.com/
Suggestions
Ideally: post should be followed by:
* a step to the Diigo Meta view of the bookmark
* (not direction away from Diigo)
Less ideally: direct away from Diigo, to the original URL.
#
within the URL.
Consequences may include duplicate bookmarks and disconnected annotations.
Most recent failure: redirection after using Post to Diigo for
http://krebsonsecurity.com/2010/04/immunet-a-second-opinion-worth-a-second-look/#more-2349
Duplicate bookmarks are only a slight bother but it's much more tiresome when annotations are spread over the multiple.
