Show notes/highlighted text without opening the toolbar first - 7 views

  Hi
  Is there a way to have diigo display notes and highlighted text without opening the toolbar first?
  
  At this stage the notes/highlights only appear after I open the toolbar but I really need this to not rely on having to open the toolbar for every page I visit.
