Suddenly I cannot post notes on pages anymore. The error I am getting is: " To reduce spam, posting public notes is a privilege reserved for active and trusted users. "

I teach high school & college and have given assignments to annotate an online book and suddenly Diigo won't work for us. I have 120 students working on what should be a simple process and now does NOT work at all.

I suggest you create a group for your class and post notes to that group, so all us non related people won't see them.

This is NOT a question of making a group or not making one, but that's a MOOT point since I cannot post at all right now.

Oh! No sticky notes at all!?
    o.O
For important bugs like this it's suggested to contact them directly, to quickly get it fixed.

I've contacted diigo support team directly by email and here is their answer to the problem:
You can create public notes as long as 5 people follow you on diigo. We
take this mechanism out of consideration to block out spammers.

If you don't agree to this previously mentioned policy, you can also try Google Sidewiki, the difference between this and Diigo sidebar beeing that with sidewiki you can vote the comment's usefullness, so you have the most useful information on top; this deals a little better with spam than Diigo Sidebar.

... I have 122 carefully chosen followers and still not a "trusted user"... WTF !
