http://message.diigo.com/ and
http://groups.diigo.com/ seem to be OK but
http://www.diigo.com/ is temporarily unavailable.
This was first noticed at
http://www.diigo.com/main/done.jsp after accepting an invitation in Firefox to update Diigo to 5.1.0.1. -
Scheduled maintenance
In the UK we're maybe eight hours ahead of the midnight schedule that's given at

Diigolet view of group tag dictionary does not reflect previously entered matching tags - 3 views
-
A very minor issue with Diigolet 4.0b166
1. before copying to a group, add to a bookmark a tag that's in that group's dictionary
2. copy (share) to that group
Bug
Buttons for the matching tags are not selected.
Workaround
Either (a) ignore the button
or (b) click the button once, click the button once more.

I applied more than three highlights to
http://www.apple.com/uk/macosx/uptodate/
Bug
Some of the highlights have disappeared. I have no recollection of deleting them.
http://www.diigo.com/06i6f shows the remaining highlights. Between the first and second highlights, there should be at least one other.

And again, my first serious attempt to annotate results in loss of annotations:

I haven't seen this problem recently. Pushing the service fairly hard with frequent addition and deletion of highlights, the end results seem good: highlights are as they should be.
@ other contributors to this topic: do you agree?
@ Diigo: did you improve performance of servers, to resolve this issue?
Comment pane of Diigolet no longer works with contextual menus - 10 views

Maybe comparable to
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/1689130 (2010-06-19),
'comment pane of Diigolet 4.0b166: can not select, can not copy'.
Bug
Text and hyperlinks within the Comment pane fail to work with the Contextual menu of Mac OS X.
Example
1. At http://security.goatse.fr/
2. load Diigolet 4.0b166
3. right-click the hyperlink - a new window opens
or
3. control-click the hyperlink - nothing happens
Both responses are wrong. Both actions should present the contextual menu (of the OS, not of Diigolet).
Regression
I don't recall this bug in Diigolet 4.0b14.
highlight: contextual menu: pencil icon is obscured, contextual menu is difficult to gain - 23 views

Suggestions
For the contextual menu, do not require movement away from the highlight.
Allow the contextual menu to drop down from any part of the highlight.
Bug: an example
When I aim to colour, or add a note to, my highlight at http://faviki.wikia.com/wiki/Bugs
The pencil icon from which the contextual menu should drop is mostly obscured.
Aiming for where the centre of the icon should be causes the icon and its menu to disappear.
Screen shot to follow.

* Verdana 18 as standard.
Other bugs caused by the illogical movement away from the highlight
At least one other topic describes problems arising from the current requirement to move away from the highlight. IMHO The misdirection is weird. - ...1 more comments...

I'm still frustrated daily by the clunkiness of Diigolet 4.x.
3.x was far more streamlined.
I'm fairly sure that if the design did not require the user to move away from the highlight, to the speech bubble icon above the highlight, then highlights would be much easier to work with (and we wouldn't have problem such as http://groups.diigo.com/group/Diigo_HQ/content/986182) …

> Can I edit tags in groups?
If you are the owner or moderator of the group, you can:
* create a tag dictionary for that group
* edit any member's bookmark.
If you are an ordinary member of a group and the bookmark that you wish to edit was posted by you:
* you have freedom to edit your bookmark.
If you are an ordinary member and the bookmark that you wish to edit was posted by someone else, you can:
1. save that person's group bookmark to your library
2. add tags (neither edit nor delete existing tags)
3. copy (share) to the group.
Rule of thumb: in a group environment, avoid edit or delete other people's data/metadata.

Graham

Your group http://groups.diigo.com/group/cloud-computing-wipro is found, by searching http://groups.diigo.com/
> the group has been deleted
Did you see a message that used the word "delete"?
Is your group listed when you click My Groups?
> leaving no trace
If you searched for the group soon after its creation, it's possible that the index had not been updated to include that group.

No, I don't see the number.

A great improvement, thanks!
Now, for example at
http://groups.diigo.com/group/Web2?type=bookmark
we can use the More menu of any bookmark to gain a link to that bookmark:
-
Re-opening this topic for a minor improvement suggestion.
It's impossible to learn the URL of the group bookmark if you are not a member of the group.
Example: at http://groups.diigo.com/group/fossaps/search?what=immunet I see the bookmark but there's no More menu to offer the link.
