basically never. I find it too awkward -- too many steps. > > 2. When you send in that direction, are the end results acceptable?
Yes.

I generally "star" items first using Google reader and then manually quick-bookmark them in Diigo. Later, I update all of the untagged bookmarks in Diigo.
It would be nice to be able to "star" items in reader and then have them automatically be quick-bookmarked in Diigo.
When I try to view my annotations on my bookmarks page by clicking on the expand/collapse buttons, nothing is shown. However, when I visit the page, it shows that the corresponding highlights still exist there. Evidently, for some reason, they are not being shown on the bookmarks page via the expand/collapse buttons.
I would really need to send an animation. It renders the search results like a deck of cards in Adobe FLASH and whips thru the results really fast. It looks visually like the timeline mode in Picasa, if that helps.
Diigo has a preview mode, but it is 100 times slower and less slick than searchme.com.

among others, stumbleUpon has a very useful feature in that results returned from google are marked with a small icon if they had previously been indexed by stumbleUpon. This help paw through the list of search hits from google. A corresponding feature from diigo would be useful.
The Groowe toolbar has a very useful icon where you can type in a search and hit a button that will make the search go through the current site. I understand you can do this with the diigo right-click menu, but what if the words you want to search for are not on the page and therefore cannot be highlighted?
It would be nice to have a similar function to accomplish vertical search without having to highlight text.
On the pop-up menu, I have to go to the sub-menu in order to choose "highlight and bookmark" since the 'highlight' sub-menu is checked.
Is it possible to change the default checkmark so that I don't have to navigate to the sub-menu anymore to get the "highlight and bookmark" functionality?
