I hadn't thought about it. Seems that the current system is fine for those settings, but the system could be extended as you suggest. I just think it's a pain with the current system to tag sever...
One solution we thought before was to provide service-side support for simultaneously bookmark. However, if other bookmark services don't accept bookmarks from diigo, it will be a problem.
