    > tag my most used bookmarks with a "@daily" tag

I use a macro (command-4) for a Diigo Meta view of the page, then click the Like button.

The like marks show in my network view of myself, but not in my library.

I imagine that one day, Diigo will offer a view of 'things that I like' (excluding all things that do not have my like mark).

Sort by frequency of use would be a useful option.

Amongst my top five problems with Diigo 4.0 beta:
sort by date added — on which I rely heavily — was removed completely.

(Sort nowadays is by date modified, a very different thing. Forcing that change — without retaining the original, as an option — is a real pain.)

    > currently i've had to tag my most used bookmarks with a "@daily"

Like soulgrind r, I use tagging to (re)create a feature. However: it's tedious, even with macros, to add the three tags to every bookmark.

Also a waste of Diigo bandwidth, because I find myself using first Diigolet (to check that Post to Diigo will not blindly cause dataloss), secondly Post to Diigo (customised daily to add the year, month and date tags), thirdly Diigolet.

I'd really appreciate it if Diigo could:

    * reintroduce the lost option to sort bookmarks by date added
    * introduce an option to sort bookmarks by frequency of use.

    Thanks

Try the 'Common Stuff' link that appears on each person's profile. Not exactly what you want, but it could be interesting.

Old "FURL tags" still in tag cloud, although no bookmark is tagged with it - 26 views

OK, at http://www.diigo.com/user/Bekay00 when I expand the portlet named
    'Public Tags'
I see that 6 are counted but then none are matched.

So, the count and the presence are wrong.

Please: is it only the one tag
    &
    that is inconsistent?

    Postscript

    Also at http://www.diigo.com/cloud/Bekay00 the tag
    &
is present with a count of
    6

There are various bugs, some of which must take priority.

Is this particular bug preventing you from working?

Please, can you link to a screen shot of the issue? Thanks.

    Private group visibility

    > Why are the private groups listed in the repository
    > but not on the profile page of the owner?

A group with content that is private can be listed publicly.

If you seek and find a group, you'll find the name of the owner.

(I can see all groups that I administer, but I don't expect other people to seek that information. Other people's initial focus is the group.)

For that, use management view in your library.

    > I created a list, and I now find out it should have been a group...
    > How could I batch add them to a group?

    1. check the box to select all items in the list

    2. Revise tags…

    3. add a suitable tag

    4. in your library, search for that tag

    5. copy the bookmarks to the group.

    > can you get all the items in a group entered into a list at once?

    That's not a feature.

What would you do with a list that can not be done within a group?

(I realise that the feature set of a list is different from the set of a group. A use case, an example will help.)

Bear in mind, groups may have hundreds of items. Lists are better when they're not too long.

    > using digolet on a computer thats not mine and
    > when i get to my computer i would like to trfr them all to a list.

When you get to your computer, you can use the Diigo group in the same way.

    > edit the bookmark while under lists

This feature was added to Diigo a while ago, I can't remember when.

    > condense the view

Maybe have a three way-switch, similar to the one that presents in your library. Switching to the right for the view that best suited to management.
