What's the next feature we should implement first? We often ask ourselves this question. How about using a vote system to help us decide the priorities? Everyone can vote for the next feature, and we can implement the most wanted feature first.

  • Joel Liu

    1) We will change the default setting as private and info you when it's done.
    2) Y, the alert feature is implemented in the next version. We are testing it now.

We will take a break after the new version is released :). You are so considerable. Thanks!
I can access the http://www.diigo.com/customize_search with NoScript extension installed. Could you try to access it in a new profile? If you still fail to get it, could you change your password to a temp one and email it to jole 【at】 diigo.com? Then we can look into it and find out what's wrong with your account?

    1) Sorry, I can't reproduce the problem.

    2) Did you mean when you tried to enable the forum, you got the message "Sorry. We are experiencing temporary difficulties" ? I tried it in a private group, it worked fine.

To help you solve the problem, I need your account to login diigo and see what happened ( I know your username, but didn't know your password). So, could you change your password to a temp one and send it to joel 【at】 diigo dot com ? And please also tell us the group name you encountered the problems.

    Thanks!

Highlights and bookmars disappearing - 76 views

    Hi, altergrin:
Did you mean some bookmarks you saw in your bookmarks list before disappear now ?
Please give us more accurate description and we will look into it very seriously.
    Thanks
  • Joel Liu

I bookmarked and highlighted http://85.192.55.201/limonov/anatomia_hero/16.htm successfully.
Did you see a "Bookmark Saved" tips on the upper left corner of Firefox just after you submit the bookmark?

    altergrin wrote:
    > joel wrote:
    > > Did you mean some bookmarks you saw in your bookmarks list before disappear now ?
    > Exactly.
===> This is strange. When you see the bookmarks in www.diigo.com/user/altergrin, that means those bookmarks are in the diigo database, it is unlikely to disappear. Is it possible that you are in the following situation?
    1)You have both public/private bookmarks
    2) Sometimes, you login diigo and see all bookmarks in www.diigo.com/user/altergrin
    3) Sometimes, you didn't login, so only see public bookmarks in www.diigo.com/user/altergrin

    > > Please give us more accurate description and we will look into it very seriously.
    > For example, I highlighted some text on this page ( http://85.192.55.201/limonov/anatomia_hero/16.htm ), then, before I closed firefox, I returned a few times, and read what I noticed there.
===>Before you restart the browser, did those bookmarks appear in www.diigo.com/user/altergrin ?

    > After restarting the browser, I saw that no one of these bookmarks (besides http://85.192.55.201/limonov/anatomia_hero/16.htm , and this one too), appeared on Diigo.
    >

    > As I noted, this was not the first time, similar things happened before - sometimes bookmarks didn`t appear instantly, I waited for a few hours, and then they appeared. So this is the first time when I precisely noticed evident loss.
===>This may due to some temp connection error. Diigo has a feature named "submit and forget". After you submit a bookmark, if it can't be saved due to the connection error or due to servers in maintenance /heave load, the Diigo toolbar will do it sometime later untill it is saved. But this shouldn't be a normal case. Please let me know directly when you find the problem again ( joel 【at 】 diigo dot com)

The two features are both based on your OWN tag list. If you meet something different, please tell us.

If you can help us, please do the following steps, and send me your profile to joel [at] diigo.com .

    1) clear your FF private data

    2) go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your
username)\ApplicationData\Mozilla\Firefox and compress the files in
    this folder

    3) Send the compressed file to " joel at diigo.com" .

By the way, the compressed file maybe too large for email. you can send
    it by http://www.yousendit.com/

    4) Please also change your Diigo username password to a temp one, and
also send it to us. So we can set up your environment here.

Thanks for your time and help in advance.
