Hi ibancorp,
You've come to the right place for Q&A and exchange viewpoints with other Diigo members.
Reading from your note, it seems that you're suggesting that "page comments" not loading in the Diigo pop-up bookmarking window. However, that error message only shows up when a particular page cannot be retrieved in Diigo website, and not related to the pop-up window. So, please advise the following:
1) What browser, and Diigo toolbar version (can retrieve this under the toolbar Diigo>>Help>>About) do you have?
2) Can you please elaborate more where you see that error message - please provide a URL if possible
Meanwhile, I will email you with the latest toolbar for you to give it a test drive.

Diigo Toolbar delays each new Firefox window - 40 views

Hi Zizzle,
What's your computer specs?
If you uninstall Diigo, how long does it take for you to open up a new FF window? Try the same experiment with other extension(s).
From my experience, normally opening up a new FF window takes up some time compared with opening up a FF tab. Have you tried using the tab window instead of opening up a brand new FF window? -
Thanks for reporting. Without Diigo, do you have any delay at all when opening up a new FF window?
Our experience is that opening up FF window does take a little time with or wihout Diigo toolbar. anyone with similar experience.
We'll look further into it, Meanwhile, opening up tab instead of another new window seems to be a good alternative. Glad to hear Diigolet is helping as well. -
Thanks - will pass this on to our engineers.
You don't experience any delay in opening up a new tab, right?
Also, you said: "this happens either with a lot extensions (30+) or just diigo and fresh firefox installed" -->
what do you mean by the last phrase "fresh FF installed"?

Danielle,
The screenshot does look odd. It looks like you may be using the older toolbar. Please advise what toolbar version you're using. You can find out by going to the toolbar Diigo>>Help>>About. -
FF add-ons page sometimes doesn't get updated as timely as we'd like. We don't have complete control over the release there. Best to check the latest toolbar version at our site.

Please advise the URLs of the pages you tried.
By the way, any pages that are dynamically changing in content are not suitable for persistent highlight & sticky note. -
Just discussed with our engineer - sorry, yes, it's a new bug that's being fixed now. We should release a new version in 1-2 days.
Thanks for reporting. -
The maintenance notice is totally separate from this particular issue.
Sorry guys, this bug should have already been fixed by the new toolbar we're working on, but it is taking us a little longer to release to public since we're building a few more features - hopefully not too long ( in the next 1-2 days or so.... The new toolbar that we're working on will include video / flash clipping support, plus more :-)
Should this problem (mentioned here) is causing some problem for you and you need an immediate solution, please email us at info @ diigo dot com - we can send you the latest alpha toolbar that should solve this. Also, love to get your feedback on the video clipping portion and few other things.
Thanks

Please check again and advise. We took down the indexing servers yesterday for a while - and you may have bumped into the downtime.
Good news: new search is coming very shortly. Will advise when up. -
Sorry, my mistake - we haven't opened up the old index because we are updating the new search now, as we speak.
Just hang on - soon. -

Ken (Mandi) - thanks for reporting and being a great detective :-)
We suspect it may be due to an extension conflict, or something specific to a webpage.
Please advise when you started seeing the problem? What's your toolbar version? We're having trouble reproducing the issue you're describing. Hate to trouble you - would you mind assisting us and sending us your FF profile to info @ diigo dot com? If you need instruction, let us know.
(Ken, pls update your avatar.)
Compwoman - does it shut down and restart your computer help at all? Also, when did you notice the problem and what's your toolbar version? Note: we notice a small problem with the new profile - when updating, your session ID got changed and could cause some login problem - we should have fixed that. Wonder if that could be part of the problem you're having?...
(yeah! thanks for your very active contribution and yes, you updated your profile. Nice :-) -
The login problem was due to a recent new change in the backend. Just updated. Please check and confirm. Thanks
-
Ken,
Sounds like there may be an extension conflict there. This takes some "detective" work - if you start with a brand new FF profile (so it won't interrupt your normal work), install Diigo only. If it works fine, then add another one, such as Stubmleupon. etc. Through process of elimination, it's easier to isolate the potential cause.

Hi Dave,
haha, nice to hear our "simple off-the-shelves" old forum is actually "missed" :-)
Yes, Oliver is right - full text searching is on our to-do list. While it's a little inconvenient without it now, we're re-doing our forums for many good reasons. Glad you like our new alerts.
hey, like to nag you - please update your avatar :-)

Hi Archer,
Sorry - our new help is being updated now.
Public highlights and sticky notes should be done with great care. Please see 2nd paragraph of http://www.diigo.com/help/stickynote/2. (Note: we're in the process of making adding new friends (especially within the Diigo community) easier. Meanwhile, you can add friends by sending invites to them.
Hope this helps, and welcome to the Diigo Community! -
Godfrey, great user - we chat time to time.
Welcome! See you around.
(FYI: for now before our "add friend" feature to invite existing Diigo users rolls out, you need to use our "INVITE" to add 2 new friends in order to make public sticky notes. )

Good point - already on our To-Do list, just haven't had time to get around to it yet.
> It would be also helpful, if the edited tags could be also saved to the local bookmark after editing .
> When i use the export bookmark tools the tag-mappas are not retained.. It is also very annoying to create individually every changed or new tag-mappas in the local bookmark.
Retain tag-mappas, when you have lots of bookmarks, this feature will demand lots of performance resources. Thus, unless we have a good solution, we probably won't support this yet.
