Meanwhile, not sure if you have noticed - some additional ways to do tag search and display:
1) http://www.diigo.com/tag/xxx will show you all Bookmarks tagged xxx. 2) there is a "view Mine" option 3) Then, there are "recent" / "popular" tab
We're making lots of little improvements throughout the site (and more to come) , so keeping up with the latest HELP is quite a challenge. Thus, we're now building a new wiki HELP platform. Everyone can view it, but only "pre-authorized" authors can make updates / changes on it to keep up the content quality. Once we have the basics up - we'd love invite expert POWER Diigo users who are interested in helping us keep up with the latest changes.
Anyone interested in helping sometimes (no "obligation" - contribute only whenever you'd like to), we'd love to hear from you!
Diigo will add advertising support, so that its basic service will always be free. We're considering a premium fee-based service where it's ad free but has lots more bells and whistles.
Will put out a survey to see what's considered important for you all as users. Meanwhile, we welcome your input.
1) where did you import the bookmarks from - and also, your previous bookmarks - do they all have tags or associate with a folder?
2) Your no_tag - does it have a quotation over that, eg. "no_tag"?
3) Have you tried to edit this "no_tag' to something else? If not, please give it a try. (you can edit tags in "My Bookmarks" tag edit area)
4) Your bookmarks are all private, so hard for us to check them out - please do this: set a temporary password and email us your username & temp password to info AT diigo dot com - we will help you take a look.
Problem should be already fixed - we'll release that fix along other new features shortly.
Please don't be that cynical - the entire Diigo team is already working our butts off to provide you all the best services out there. What we need is more encouragement, constructive input, and active support, and not this kind of negative comments. Quite disheartening!
> how about an option to keep diigolet active so I don't have to > invoke it every time I move to a new page?
Send me an email at info at diigo dot com - I have a test script that you may wish to try.
> not only that, (an old idea) an option to keep last-entered tags > as default for next page tagged! that would save typing (and my > memory) enormously!
Probably not a good idea. Most users bookmark different pages on different subjects. To enable this will cause more inconvenience for other users with different bookmarking usage pattern.
Looks like a login problem - have you ever encountered this before?
Please clear your cookies, close your browser and restart your IE. Let us know what happen.
If not, please advise which IE toolbar you have (make sure you have the latest one installed - check website), and more about your computer specs (operating system, etc.)
Meanwhile, you can always use IE diigolet to continue your normal activities.
Have you just upgraded to Vista Enterprise recently? Do you have any new anti-spam or security system installed?
We've not had a chance to test against Vista Enterprise - will try to do so shortly and advise.
Meanwhile, we think it probably has to do with your privacy setting on Vista.
Please try this: please go to your control panel, and enter "Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts" in the address bar. On the bottom of the page, look for "Turn User Account Control on or off", click it and uncheck the check box. Then retry.
Please elaborate more on what you meant by "rolled up sticky note". Thanks
By the way, I presume you're a new Diigo user. In case you haven't noticed (we're in the process of rewriting our HELP section, since more new features are forthcoming), Diigo offers two kinds of sticky notes:
1) "floating" sticky note that has a "bubble" header - this can be positioned anywhere on a webpage
2) In-situ sticky note - first you highlight a block of text. Once highlighted, right-click or click Diigo button again and select "sticky note" - this will allow you to have a sticky note associated with that highlight. It shows up only when you mouse-over the highlight.
We notice a new bug - should have been fixed now - please verify. Thanks

Loyola,
Nicky has misunderstood and provided the wrong answer. You're correct - anyone (even non-Diigo users) should be able to see your annotations on the forward link.
I just checked and your forward link seems ok. Can you please check again? Thanks
(hey, good stuff you're sharing there - no wonder you're a Diigo fan :-) For anyone doing good amount of online information consuming - they should find Diigo quite useful... That's why we create Diigo in the first place - develop useful features that we'd love to have as users ourselves. cheers!)
That's a nice feature of Diigo - it automatically adds bookmarks to Diigo when you get back online :-) However, unfortunately, simultaneous bookmarking to other services must be done when you're online. Best way to do this is to rebookmark them again, if necessary.
To share to a group later: very simple, go to "My bookmarks" section, check off the bookmark(s) you wish to share to a group, and use "share to groups" pull-down menu - that's all.

Interesting that you point this out - wonder how important is that additional "userxxx said ...(on 05-11-2007 replied to useryyyy on #1)"? We'd like to hear other people's opinion on this, because this is related to another new feature design that we're working on.
1) Do people realize that you can reply to a specific post within a thread, or do people just default to use the last comment in a thread to "reply"?
2) For readers reading a forum discussion thread, do they really pay attention to the # on a thread, and actively trying to follow which comment is replied to which comment, or they just read through the thread sequentially?
