  I like the linkroll and use it on my blog. I do however think it would be great if it there were additional options:
  
  Last x entries
  Random entries
  Random entries from a specific tag. Useful for educators with course blogs.

  That's an interesting suggestion - will discuss here.
  
  However, this is not likely a high priority now - we're gearing up to launch a series of new features shortly, so quite busy lately. Stay tuned...
