Which kind of tools do you use, diigolet or extension? Since diigolet won't automatically run in the background, highlights won't show up automatically via diigolet. They appear provided that you click the diigolet button and toolbar is open on that page. As for diigo extension for firefox, once installed, highlights will appear automatically when you revisit pages. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Currently you can not replace one tag in your group with another directly. However, you can do that step by step as instructed below. 1)filter out items tagged with the specific/certain tag 2)choose to view all items in advanced mode, also known as the best mode for management 3)batch add a new tag to those bookmarks via the "revise tag" function, which is available from the drop-down menu of "more actions" 4)delete the specific tag by editing all items one by one BTW, we offered a parallel function in a group tag library, which is also known as the group tag cloud feature. However,we disabled it based on it is a seldom used feature and users most likely to revise/edit/delete tags when they see all relevant items rather than they see individual /stand-alone tags separately. Which way is better to edit group tags from your point of view? Any suggestions and feedback are highly appreciated.
Currently the option to delete tag from selected items as you described is not available. Some users have complained about the chaos of group tags.So we designed the tag dictionary feature to replace the group tag cloud feature. We want to solve this issue from the origin via the group tag dictionary feature. Supposed that the group owner and together with his group members select some tags as predefined tags in tag dictionary. Each time when they share a bookmark, they form a habit to choose the most suited one from suggested tags by group. Those tags are also highly accepted/most popular among all members.Rather than each individual use tags randomly, tags are in good order. In this way,it also saves some time for group owner to manage tags.As bookmarks accumulate, tags can play a role for distinguishing categories, which is also similar to the label function of gmail.
We have noticed this bug and it will be fixed. The current workaround is using space as delimiters between multiple tags and you can also use format like "tag a AND tag b" to find out bookmarks with both tag a and tag b.
First of all, right-click on any icon on the Firefox icon bar and that will get you a short pop-up Context menu. Please make sure that diigo toolbar is selected. If diigo toolbar doesn't appear there, please right click on the toolbar area, choose customize, then click restore default setting. If the above method does not work for you, please try to reinstall it. You can get diigo extension for firefox on those following websites 1)https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2792/ 2)http://www.diigo.com/tools/toolbar
The community library may contain some results from your own library. Only public bookmarks of high quality show up in the search results of community library.
As the red ellipse indicated, you can filter out bookmark or topic. If you choose all, then all those topics and bookmarks they have contributed to show up. If you choose bookmark, only those comments they leave on bookmarks shared by themselves show up. Note: if bookmarks weren't shared by them ,they followed the post and made their comments. In this case, their comments won't show up together with the bookmark. If bookmarks were shared by them, all their highlights, sticky notes and comments show up together. As for topics, all their contributions will appear no matter whether bookmarks were shared by them.
Since it is such a common user scenario that teachers need to filter out all contributions from a particular/certain student, we will take it into consideration and make some improvements on this feature. Please stay tuned.
