I have highlighted text on several bookmarked Web pages using the Diigo highlighter, and the highlights appear in my Diigo library (listed beneath the main page heading). However, when I revisit the page by clicking the link from my Diigo library, the highlights are missing from the page. (None of the highlights appear.) I have tried two Web browsers: Safari Version 4.0.5 (6531.22.7), and Firefox 3.6.3 GTB7.1. I am using Macintosh OS 10.6.3. TIA for any help!

Which kind of tools do you use, diigolet or extension?
Since diigolet won't automatically run in the background, highlights won't show up automatically via diigolet.
They appear provided that you click the diigolet button and toolbar is open on that page.
As for diigo extension for firefox, once installed, highlights will appear automatically when you revisit pages.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.

I am using Macintosh OS 10.6.3, Firefox Firefox/3.6.3 GTB7.1 + Diigo Toolbar 5.1.0.18 (which I reinstalled this morning). Diigo is the only add-on I have installed in Firefox.

Highlights always fail to appear. Here are the steps I take:
    1 Go to page.
2 Click Highlight button on Diigo toolbar.
    3 Highlight text (highlight appears).
    4 Save bookmark to Diigo.
5 Go to Diigo Library and click bookmark.
6 When I return to the page in this manner, the highlight is now gone.

The highlights also fail to appear if I save the bookmark BEFORE highlighting, and then highlight.

In all cases the highlighted text appears _in my Diigo Library_ but fails to appear when I go to the page.

NOTE! The very same highlights work fine if I view the pages in Windows XP SP3, Firefox 3.6.13 + DiigoToolbar 5.1.0.18.
