Tried to delete a few tags (which had no bookmarks associated with them). I deleted all cookies, logged out, then closed my browser, then logged back in (in separate trials, in same browser and different browser), and still the tags were not deleted!!
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I saw posts about this about a week ago (early Jan 2011), and the problem appears to have been present then.
Just confirmed this is fixed. Also, there was another (related?) problem you fixed: the counts next to the tags that were supposed to indicate the number of bookmarks were wildly off and not updated. Now they are accurate. I noticed another behavior: if I delete all uses of a tag, so it is attached to 0 bookmarks, then your software deletes the tag (so no tag will appear with a zero next to it). I like the behavior, and I see why you decided to do it that way. While it might be convenient to have a tag in reserve to use in the future, if every tag I used would stay in the list of my tags when I've ceased using it (i.e., that tag would be attached to no bookmarks), I'd have a very large list of tags. I start a new job in 6 weeks, at which time I *will* be going premium, probably paying for 2 premium accounts, one for work and one for my personal use. Needless to say, your fixing this problem so quickly is a sign of good faith, and I hope you will use my comments as you see fit for your advertising.
