1. as a logged in user http://www.diigo.com/ should redirect to your library, then
Add+
is at the head of the left hand column, and you opt for
New Bookmark

2. visit http://www.diigo.com/item/new/bookmark then complete the URL and Title fields and any others required.

3. Post to Diigo is at http://www.diigo.com/tools/post_to_diigo

4. Diigolet is at http://www.diigo.com/tools/diigolet#forOthers

If approaches both (1) and (2) work, then my gut feeling is that (3) and (4) should work too. Someone at Diigo will have better knowledge in this area.

I find no change log for the extension so I don't know when 1.5.4 was outdated, don't know whether anything was released between 1.5.4 and 1.6.0.1.

Using that product combination on Mac OS X 10.6.4, I can't reproduce the problem. See for example http://www.diigo.com/user/grahamperrin/Diigo%2C1754734

The toolbar of Diigolet offers subtle feedback (a) when highlights are saved and (b) when highlights fail (as sometimes happens, if there's a service issue).

Diigo extension 1.6.0.1 for Google Chrome offers no feedback when highlights are saved. Maybe this type of feedback is not a feature of the extension.

For me, too, http://www.diigo.com/cached?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.servindi.org%2Factualidad%2F27065 presents no content for the 2010-06-23 robot cached copy.

I have three image clippings in my library, none of them display the problem described above.

Example: http://www.diigo.com/item/image/pnb/7oqd is fine in Safari 5.0 (6533.16) in Mac OS X 10.6.4.

  — the version that presents within meta views is necessarily different from the enriched version that serves us without meta.

I may occasionally add to this topic, and if Diigo team want to add any hints that'll be great, but I don't plan to ask further questions about what's new in Diigolet alone. Happy to sit back and watch the big picture evolve without an explicit log of changes for a fraction of the picture :-)

(Not to reveal private information. Rather, simply to know when issues both minor and major have been resolved.)

We have already a range of colours, giving context; at
http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/41752#10 the first screen shot demonstrates green and pink.

No objections to individuals setting a personal preference for highlights that are seen by the individual alone but for highlights that appear in group contexts, there is value in a limited and predictable palette.

In recent versions of Diigo you can add section headings to a list, but there is no nesting.
