The recent update to Diigolet seems to prevent selection of text of notes and comments.

Workaround (assuming that bookmarklets can be used with Safari in iOS)

1. add bookmarklet Post to Diigo

2. edit the address of the bookmarklet

3. use the code that's pasted at http://pastebin.ca/1932241

At http://support.immunet.com/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=10 for me neither the standard Post to Diigo (in Google Chrome) nor my customised script for the day (in Safari) works.

Not just Post to Diigo.

Also: whilst Diigolet 4.0b166 loads:

* floating notes seem to stick to the cursor, not the page ;)

It might be possible to do something with GreaseKit and the Diigo API.

Suggestions

Brett Terpstra — developer of the
TabLinks extension for Safari, which "copies the link information for every tab open in Safari, and outputs them as a list, based on a user-defined template" — may know how to copy the link information for tabs in the the foreground window only.

Also, there may be some useful code in the GreaseKit or Greasemonkey communities.

— reminds that originally, I noticed the bug after searching or filtering my library. Reading between the lines, the full advanced view (neither searching nor filtering) may have been OK at the time. I see now that it is not.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. visit http://extensions.apple.com/

2. capture entire page

3. new tab displays the shot, in editing mode

- and the capture is incomplete, the right hand side of the shot is clipped, that's probably a separate bug

4. without editing, click √ Done

then, a bug:

* the tab closes unexpectedly (apparently losing the shot)
* Awesome Screenshot icon disappears from the toolbar
* Awesome Screenshot is no longer listed at chrome://extensions/

To restore the extension

5. quit Google Chrome.

Environment

Mac OS X 10.6.4 (Build 10F569)

Suggestion

Avoid reloading.

Rationale

If a person captures, say, a fully completed form before submitting,
then a reload may lose all entries.

At http://awesomescreenshot.com/06avl3f2 sometimes when I use the contextual menu to view the image in a new tab, problems:
