There is also a link to "All Annotations," and that does work, however it will include both your comments and those from other people. Is it something originating from Diigo itself, or is it due to my particular setup (firefox 3, linux, ...)?

About 30 minutes in I refreshed the page and with it diigo, when it refreshed the posts that I saw at 4pm were gone, and I couldn't find them on the page. (Note: the class are all in a group, and we all made the highlights and stickies as public) So, with that background in mind, I read somewhere about spam protection, does that mean that since we had so many people posting so quickly the highlights and stickies went away as part of a "clean-up" system? > > 2. Is there a way to fix this problem? To keep all the highlights/stickies viewable at all times? I'm just guessing here, but should we just select our group when we make the stickies instead of public?
As far as I know, all the restrictions have been met, however posting public sticky notes with the Firefox toolbar still does not work, and the public option is not listed. Oddly, when using the Diigolet bookmarklet, there is no problem posting public sticky notes. There are two cases when public sticky notes are not allowed: - if you have less than 2 friends - on some home pages
Additionally, there seems to be a bug with the Firefox addon, which prevents some people from posting public sticky notes, even when they should be able. Try using the Diigo Bookmarklet (Diigolet) instead.

Inline comments (highlight + Add Sticky Note) doesn't give me a "Public" option on any webpages, including this one. The only options are Private or one of my groups. Yes, I'm interested in such a feature as well. What I'd like is any way to share a page + all my annotations (highlighted sections) with someone else who does not use Diigo. There is a website called Sharedcopy which has a similar function, you can see an example of how it works here: http://www.okfn.org.sharedcopy.com/wiki/f7e42dec6c6fc9217aa525868d9e18a9.html#shcp0 However the interface and other features are not as robust as Diigo, so it would be great to find a way to do this using Diigo.
