How to undo someone flagged as spammer? - 27 views

Thanks for letting us know.
Without going into too much details (remember, we are fighting those bad spammers - don't want them to gain on the system :-) ), we are doing various measures to monitor them actively and continuously trying to improve.
Of course, we also really appreciate our community users' help. So, please do actively help us police the community and report "flag spammer / or flag spam bookmark" if you do notice any. We will take care of them (there is a review process.) Thanks!

Important: position of 'clip it' - 37 views

Thanks for reporting. Will test here to see if modification is needed.
Meanwhile, make sure you upgrade to the latest toolbar. Then only hit "clip" when you need it. Turn it off when you don't need it.
It's near impossible to make sure we don't conflict with all extensions, but you do have a good point here. Will discuss with our team to incorporate into out normal testing procedure.
Slightly off topic: by the way, wonder if anyone knows what's the criteria for being selected as FF's recommended top extensions? Think Diigo extension is pretty good (and very useful) compared with most of them out there - should Diigo deserve a top recommended spot there as well ? :-)
FF extension just rolled out a completely new comment design. If you like Diigo's toolbar, please kindly take a little time to write a short recommendation comment https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2792 - Thanks. - ...1 more comments...

Marcel,
I'm going to send you another new toolbar to try it out. It offsets the position by 20x. let's see if that makes a difference.
Meanwhile,
1) you can always turn off the "Clip" mode when you don't need it.
2) Even if it slightly overlaps, when you mouse over the one you wish, its menu (either Diigo's Clip It) or Adblock will float to the top, and you can easily pick the one you wish. -
Good to know. thanks for your feedback. Please update your avatar.

How important having the icons are, since you can customize the name anything you wish?
> 2. Ability to move a customized search to a different category
First, you know you can drag and drop the search category positions in this page http://www.diigo.com/customize_search
Second, although we don't offer a "merge categories" or move feature, you can easily add any engine to any category by clicking "customize engine"

Thanks for reporting - sorry, it's a new bug introduced by the latest toolbar. Being fixed now - we will have a new toolbar release shortly.
Glad that you find Diigo useful. Please share it with your friends and colleagues and kindly help us spread the words.
If you don't mind, pls write a short comment here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2792
Thanks for your time in advance!

How to turn annotation markers (highlights) on and off. - 221 views
-
Hi fridemar
We already offer a "Show Annotation" View Mode setting in the toolbar where you can easily toggle your viewing preference (All, private, group, disable).
To turn this into a keyboard shortcut, anything is doable - but question is how much demand is this feature? Also, keyboard shortcut must be executed with great care - since there may easily cause potential conflicts with other keyboard shortcuts by other popular software. Last thing we want to do is to create incompatibility, if this feature is not mission-critical and we do offer alternative solution.

I still find it less convenient than using a shortcut key, if there is any. May I therefore request that this feature be added in future upgrades.
Highlight shortcut: Ctrl+Q

Though rare, this odd event may happen multiple times on some occasions causing considerable nuisance. I humbly hop that this issue shall be looked into. Thank you.
We've not seen this yet. Please send us some url or screenshots to info at diigo dot com, so we can reproduce what you're describing here. Also, please advise your computer specs. Thanks

Hi Sue,
See Ollitolli already helped you out :-)
How are you? Haven't heard from you for a while - hope all is well.
Yes, just phased out the old forum - hope everyone like the new one, or give us suggestions how to make it better. (When we have some time, will try to import the old forum data into this new one. For now, we just provide a link to access the old forums for your convenience. )
Let us know if your issues are solved.
cheers,
~ Maggie

We'd like to warmly welcome and introduce Ollitolli (a.k.a. "Catweazel" in our old User Forum) as one of our Community Forum moderators!
Oliver has been a super fantastic supporter of Diigo since very early on. Not only he volunteers to provide us with lots of wonderful feedback and suggestions constantly, he has also been very active in our forums, generously sharing his knowledge and experiences with other Diigo users. We're very grateful for his continued support and help.
Of course, I and other Diigo members will continue to hang around and love to have your inputs & suggestions. We'll also resolve any bugs / system-related issues.
If you're an expert Diigo user, and wouldn't mind sharing your knowledge and engaging with other users in some interesting conversations in this Diigo Community Forum from time to time (no "serious time commitment /obligation" - just a sincere desire to "be super helpful" sometimes), love to hear from you. Please see my previous post on "Seeking Diigo Ambassadors" http://oldforum.diigo.com/topic/608#new
cheers,
~ Maggie

Would you like us to add some default tag to those? so that it can be easily retrieved? or would you prefer a pop-up bookmarking window when you hit "ClipIt" to allow you to edit on the spot?
Like to hear your thoughts on this...
PS. Spiralfunk - pls add your avatar :-) thanks !
Anyone interested in helping us to test - please post it here. thanks
