    The KC about neutrinos travelling faster than the speed of light has been tested by conducting the experiment in a different way to rule out methodological knowledge issues. The result was the same. Thus the KC has not been falsified at the first hurdle. Failure to falsify does not make a KC true, but each time it survives it gets a little stronger in our minds.

So, if concepts from books are easy, what’s hard?Doing it.Picking up the phone, making the plan, signing the deal. Pushing ‘publish.’ Announcing. Shipping.We spent a lot of time on this area. Every morning, each person came in prepared to push someone in the group to overcome the next hurdle. This is what growth looks like, and it was energizing to be part of.We didn’t do this at all at when I was at Stanford. We spent a lot of time reading irrelevant case studies and even more time building complex financial models. The thing is, you can now hire someone to build a complex financial model for you for $60 an hour. And a week’s worth of that is just about all the typical entrepreneur is going to need. The rest of the time, it’s about shipping, motivating, leading, connecting, envisioning and engaging. So that’s what we worked on.It amazes me that MBA students around the world aren’t up in arms. How can schools justify taking $100,000 in cash and teaching exactly the wrong stuff?

    I have to say, I watched this when it aired, and it was infuriating to me. Like most educators, I get really excited when there is talk of tech in the classroom. This video does not have a counter-argument. What I got from it was, "Hey, look at all of this cool stuff these schools are doing." I am ready for schools to take this approach. I am ready to go for it. However, I would like to see a documentary on the numerous hurdles to having education like this in the other 99.9% of public schools. Some of these schools get to hand-pick students, or are on a lottery system. How about the cost? Or the professional development? Or the inequity in public school funding? With a couple exceptions, all I could see were dollar signs when I watched this. Money that is not there, and won't be for some time. If you want to feel behind the times, inadequate about your teaching/pedagogy, or flat out jealous, this is the video for you.
