After we installed these plugins, we still can't reproduce the problem. To speed up the debug process, could you send the profile to us?

To send your profile
1) Clear your private data in FF
2) Find your profile
Click the Windows Start button, and type %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ in the Start Search box near the bottom of the Start menu, without pressing Enter. A list of profiles will appear in the top left of the Start menu.

3) Zip the profile

4) Send it to joel 【at】 diigo dot com. If the profile zip file is bigger than 20 M, you can send it through yousendit.com

Hi Chris,
You can delete sticky notes in two ways.
1. Go to "My bookmarks" ===>Click Expand button beside the bookmark ==> Remove sticky notes there
2. Go to the original page where you add sticky notes ===>Mouse over to the sticky notes ===> Click X

I guess you mean the description field in the new bookmark window. It is in plain text now. Could you give us the scenario in which you wantto put HTML into the description field. Thanks.

We are not sure this is caused by Diigo toolar. Can you reproduce it? Could you try diigo toolbar in a new profile and tell us what you observe?

Del.icio.us banned our IP:(. We provided a temp solution just now and your bookmarks can be saved to del.icio.us again.

BTW, we will implement this feature in the toolbar soon, so you can post boomarks to del.icio.us from diigo toolbar directly.

You can clicke the Cached links in my bookmark page to access them.
BTW,
1) There may be some delay in cached pages.
2) Some pages are not cached, such us PDF pages, Https pages.

Blogger, Gmail, and SMS ===> These items don't belong to Diigo extension. Maybe they are from your google toolbar.

Symptom:
1) Install toolbar and restart FF
2) Tools == >Addons == > Diigo toolbar is in the list
3) But in the FF window, Diigo toolbar doesn't show up.

Claire and some of her colleagues, experienced the problem, however they did some terrific detective work and found a solution. Thanks very much for your kind assistance.

"It's been a while, but we figured out how to fix the problem that about 10 of our teachers were having. Here's a step by step of what we did:

Firefox/Diigo toolbar fix:

There is a file in the users default Firefox profile called "compatibility.ini." This file is created when a new profile is made in Firefox. The path to the file is C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\profilename. The file has a hidden attribute on and cannot be seen unless you have Windows set to show hidden files. The Diigo toolbar would install but not run in Firefox unless we manually went into the current Firefox profile and took off the hidden attribute to the compatibility.ini file.


The way to do this is as follows:


1. Close the Firefox application

2 .Go to the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\yourprofilename

3. Right-mouse click on the "compatibility.ini" file and choose properties.

4. At the bottom of the "General" tab under "Attributes" there is a check box for "Hidden," Uncheck that box so that it is blank.

5. Click the OK button

6. Open Mozilla Firefox…you should then see the Diigo toolbar if it is installed.
