D#6, HW#6-- I really enjoyed this website for many different reasons. Firstly, for the way t is set up. It is easy to read and enjoyable. They have a main bullet point to look at, and then list and shortly describe different aspects of that bullet point. Also, it covers just about every aspect from design, to performance, to even security. It has a lot of great information!

I like this article because it gives an endless amount of possibilities on how to improve your blog. This article features ideas that will suit any blog.

This is the best site that I found for formal reports, it gives you a great how to and explains everything about the formal report in great detail. This site could really help you write a good formal report.

On page 104 of the book 'Technical Communication in the 21st Century' you can find IBM's National Language Support Reference, however IBM is not only a good source for identifying a country's official language but also IBM provides lots of resources for business and globalization.

I like this website, because it simplifies the major steps of technical writing. Very concise, and lots of bullet points. I love bullet points.

Resource for constructing introductions.

I think that this is a really good resource. It lists a lot valid arguments for not doing or doing certain things as far as the design of your page goes. They detail why certain design elements are bad choices and how to avoid them. The site also contains a lot of images and videos that are examples of "web pages that suck." The website is pretty humorous, too.

One of the reasons WordPress is so popular is because of its flexibility. Designers, developers, and bloggers have plenty of options. This page has it all! Aside from just telling an explaining what we can do it provides screenshots so we get an idea of the "trick" to see is we might want it. This offers help anywhere from blog rolls to navigation to addding sideshows and tabs to your page. VERY resourceful.

This article is good because it provides tutorials on how to improve your blog.  For example, there are descent free magazines themes or you can build your own.  Also it gives techniques for seo and plug ins.  

This site has an archive of a bunch of handouts talking about how to do digital documentation. It ranges from a variety of topics such as outlook, mircosoft office, adobe, and others. It's a very resourceful page to able to refer to.

This is a great resource for copyright information in the digital age. It tells u about the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). It even lets you know what you can do if someone doesn't document a citation in different countries.

This source is thorough explanation of how to effectively write verbal instructions. It runs through the preliminaries (audience, situation, number of tasks, and the grouping of tasks), the common sense things to consider, and graphics, formating, and the revisions process. This guide is a great foundation for writing instructions that can be applied to a more visual approach for project one.

Of the few resources I found online, this one seemed the most concise. It offered detailed information on technical writing for Instructions. I like how it gave examples of what it was teaching and linkable items to show as well.

This is a good resource for how to improve your blog because it tells you to spell check (which I'm surprised lately with how many things I've been reading on and offline that are not spell checked...), it says to back up facts, and have a plan. Even though this webpage is mostly for food blogs, I think a lot of the info can be used for regular blogs also.

Seems to be a great resource for design of web pages. Uses some of the same principles as chapter 1. Currently a job duty of mine at work and so this will be a good resource for me in the "real world"

This website is a blogging resource specific to WordPress. That will certainly be a good resource. There are many others out there that may not pertain to WordPress. With this class I am brand new to blogging to this should help me.

This site is a good resource because it gives good examples and explanations as well as other great links to use as resources of balance.

This was my favorite site found in my search for related content to chapter 4 of basics of design, and on the topic of balance. This site explains how important balance is in webdesign and how it make make a site look "good" and give it something extra. It talks about the different types of balance; formal. informal, and radial, and how to include them on your site or page. Lastly it explains that looking at examples can be a real help in learning to use balance in your design.

Gives ways of balancing in web design. In order to balance the web page, you use contrasts in light (light versus dark), large designs versus smaller, and etcetera.

I think this resource is a must read for beginning understanding of fair use. I personally need it and thought others might too.

A lot of good resources in this article

This website is great on giving you tips for your website design and it runs you through a whole tutorial. It talks about the new age techniques, format, dos and don'ts, colors and contrast, and designing to a purpose. I think it is a great resource that could help you a lot and relates to the concepts in Chapter 1 

This is a good resource that will help you create and customize a theme, create template and teaches how to write a simple wordpress pluggin.
