I found a few websites that had good info on Repetition. I like this one as it s pretty straight forward. I gives nice, easy to understand examples of each type of repetition it is reviewing.
This resource has a huge amount of information and links to help with blogging. I don't know specifically what you can and cannot do in WordPress, so i am not sure how much is relevant. It all seems to be pretty universal from what i read so this should help.
This website is a blogging resource specific to WordPress. That will certainly be a good resource. There are many others out there that may not pertain to WordPress. With this class I am brand new to blogging to this should help me.
I picked this website for its design elements of Alignment. As it turns out this is a website for a website design firm. The grid format with two main columns is nice and the graphic in the center is great. In the text of the two columns they chose to use Flush Left justification. I think that with the graphic they may have been better off using Runaround. They are the professionals so maybe they know better.
A website that has Balance. Good use of outlined frames and balances well. The positioning of the frames, some in front of others helps to achieve the balance. Having the title frame out in front helps balance the smaller frames on the left with the larger one on the right.
This website uses many example of contrast. The font used in a few locations on the site gives you the southwest, frontier look. While other fonts are less stated they serve the purpose of peripheral information. I love the fire on the top left of the website, that brings attention to the logo of the restaurant. Many times in websites the company logo is in t he top left as this one, but they get lost because they are small.
Of the few resources I found online, this one seemed the most concise. It offered detailed information on technical writing for Instructions. I like how it gave examples of what it was teaching and linkable items to show as well.
This is the website for Smoothie King. When I open the page the first thing I notice is the hero image displaying a smoothie with a tape measure and the calorie count. Smoothies are supposed to be healthy, lower calorie, natural options for eating a meal. I think the website emphasizes that very well. From the fruit on top to the image of the runner they have gotten their point across. The links on the right that have the menu categories is proportioned well to the rest of the verbiage on the page.
The Website is simple compared to many others out there. It is not overwhelming with info.
This is one of my favorite websites. The design is unique and interesting. I find the emphasis is on showing a "cool" or "hip" factor to the facility. The overall design of the site is a good example of easy to follow alignment of information. The overall theme is repeated throughout the homepage and the rest of the site. The theme is of a trendy retro style bar. It makes you think your dog will chill at a place like this.
