I thought this was a great example of remediation because it explains remediation and then uses different examples from movies to help people understand the meaning.

The website is FULL of information on video resumes. It covers things from the equipment needed and how much it costs, to the time needed, and even when to use one and when not to! Really great information.

This is a great example of both of the websites a found, put together. It gives the description of what a formal report is, and then continues with the outline of what goes into make a formal report and explains each sections!

Although this initial site doesnt have a lot of information first hand, it is a great place to start. It gives you resources to many different articles and other information from people about New Media!

I thought this website was useful because it had a LOT of information about copyrights and the internet. It discusses plagiarism, how long copyrights last, and even what you can and can not do when creating a webpage. Great information to know for Project #2.

This is a great website when discussing visual and verbal flow like the book with Chapter 7. Firstly, it explains what visual flow and verbal flow exactly are so that you know where you're starting off, which I really enjoy in a website. Then, the website gives you visual examples of how to improve your current design or document.

The major part I like about wordpress is the ability to design the page the way you would like whether it be with themes or by writing the html yourself. This website is great because it gives you a lot of different and ideas about wordpress and how to use it. It explains the information and then also shows you pictures/examples.

I really enjoyed this website for many different reasons. Firstly, for the way t is set up. It is easy to read and enjoyable. They have a main bullet point to look at, and then list and shortly describe different aspects of that bullet point. Also, it covers just about every aspect from design, to performance, to even security. It has a lot of great information!

I liked this website because I have also used it a previous time for balance, so it helps when they continue one from where you were left off. It gives you the chance to see the document being used go through a complete transformation with all of the design elements. They discuss repeating colors and fonts, and then discuss about repeating aesthetics.
D#5, HW#1- I enjoyed this website for multiple reasons. First of all, I enjoy websites that start off defining the design element. In this case, alignment. Then, it continues on with examples of documents and even different real life examples including the benefits of the alignment changes. It compares before images with the after images just like the book does also.

I really enjoyed this website for many different reasons. Most importantly, I liked it because it told you more than just what balance is and how it is used. It described why this happens by the color being drawn in your eyes and gives examples about darkness/lightness in black and white. It shares information with the book and shoes other examples how your eyes are brought to specific areas on a page.

I really enjoyed this website because it shares a lot of the same concepts as Chapter 3 does. It talks about contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity. The site also shows examples of different web pages and how they use these different elements!
-And.. its a funny site title :]

I think this website about how to write instructions because of the examples it give of different kinds of instructions you may come across. Also, it tells you what not to say... not just what you should say so that you can see both sides of the situation. This will help with Project #1 because it shows you what you shouldnt put so that your reader doesnt get confused!
D#2, HW#2
I thought that this was the best website that demonstrated Chapter 2 in my opinion. The website talks about the same kind of elements as in the chapter including size, color, weight, and style. I also enjoyed it because the writer explained, like the book, the reason for each of these techniques and why they help the reader get the information that is being shown to them.

I really enjoyed this website for a couple different reasons. First of all, the design process is similar to that in the book, but yet it has a different approach because it is for an architectural piece, instead of a web site or banner for example. I also enjoyed it because it is not only a list of the concepts for the designer process, but it is also the steps that this particular architectural design teams uses and wants to share with their customers. This shows those customers that they have a structured plan and as a customer you can know where you are in the time line of your design and build process. Although the design process is not exactly the same as the book, it uses the same concepts from beginning with a blank page and sketching out ideas, to ending with details helping to make the project personal to the audience.
