    900 mg of NAC over short 4 week course provided significant improvement in behavior of children with autism.  No pre treatment evaluation was performed.  One wonders if therapeutic therapy was actually undertaken if the results would have been better.  NAC is a precursor to Glutathione production and detoxification compromise is common place in autism.
