Pharmacy Covid Vaccinators Saved 20k Lives Up To Autumn 2021 - 0 views

  •
Community pharmacies saved nearly 20,000 lives up to autumn 2021 by vaccinating people against the Covid-19, the National Pharmacy Association said based on a National Audit Office (NAO) report released on Friday (February 25). The report, having taken evidence from the NPA, highlighted that community pharmacies and GPs performed far beyond expectations in delivering the Covid-19 vaccine, as 71 per cent of jabs were administered by both healthcare providers till October-end, against an initial assumption of 56 per cent. The report cited UK Health Security Agency figures, which estimated that the programme overall prevented up to 128,000 deaths and 262,000 hospitalisations by September 24 and September 19, respectively. The estimated number is considerably higher, given the pivotal role played by pharmacies in this winter's phase of the vaccination programme, the NPA stated.

Wiley Online Library: Book Abstract - 0 views

  • In the relatively uncommon circumstance of vaccine matching the viral circulating strain and high circulation, 4% of unvaccinated people versus 1% of vaccinated people developed influenza symptoms (risk difference (RD) 3%
  • The corresponding figures for poor vaccine matching were 2% and 1% (RD 1, 95% CI 0% to 3%).
  • Vaccination had a modest effect on time off work and had no effect on hospital admissions or complication rates
  • ...1 more annotation...
  • Influenza vaccines have a modest effect in reducing influenza symptoms and working days lost. There is no evidence that they affect complications, such as pneumonia, or transmission.
  •
exhaustive review of the flu vaccine data reveals VERY poor matching of vaccine, poor prevention of flu symptoms, and only modest effect on reduction in hospital admission or complication rates.   Final conclusion: "There is no evidence that they affect complications, such as pneumonia, or TRANSMISSION.

Campaign To Encourage Pregnant Women To Take Covid-19 Jabs - 0 views

  •
The government has launched a new campaign over social media and radio today (January 10) to encourage pregnant women to take their first, second and third dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Joined by experts at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), the campaign highlights the risks of the infection and benefits of vaccination. According to the latest data from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), Covid-19 vaccinations are safe for pregnant women. Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) chief scientific adviser professor Lucy Chappell, said: "We have extensive evidence now to show that the vaccines are safe and that the risks posed by Covid-19 are far greater," calling upon pregnant women who have yet to have their jabs. The campaign will also run testimonies of pregnant women who have had their jabs.

Inflammatory responses to trivalent influenza virus ... [Vaccine. 2011] - PubMed - NCBI - 0 views

This article's conclusion fits the definition of insane. This article found that the flu vaccine in pregnant women found significant increased CRP, TNF-alpha, and IL-6 inflammatory biomarkers.  It is well recognized the impact of inflammation on health and in this case the developing baby.   For example, preeclampsia and preterm birth are inflammatory conditions.  Yet, ACOG has made recommmendations for all pregnant women to get the flu vaccine?!?! Here is their conclusion: "However, further research is needed to confirm that the mild inflammatory response elicited by vaccination is benign in pregnancy".  Take home, you are being studied to see the effects of the flu vaccine on you, if you are pregnant, and your developing child.  And who decides what "mild" is anyways.  If you develop preeclampsia and delivery early, where is the "mild" in that?

Vaccines for preventing influenza... [Cochrane Database Syst Rev. 2008] - PubMed - NCBI - 0 views

2008 cochrane review again finds no benefit of flu vaccine for children under the age of 2.  Addtionally, the study finds only 1 "inactivated" vaccine in the review of 51 studies.  The other vaccines then are obviously not "inacivated".  All this when this review and a 2006 review found no benefit in children under the age of 2.  Are we really helping our children with this?

Ischaemic heart disease, influenza and influenza vaccination: a prospective case contro... - 0 views

In this study, flu vaccine is found to reduce MI risk by 45%.  Now, the take home point here is that those with cardiovascular compromise need to avoid the flu--not, that the flu vaccine by itself reduces the risk. The authors of this study fail to state the low success of the flu vaccine in the prevention of the flu.  They also fail to state the increased inflammation as a result of the vaccine itself.  A better approach would be to use natural therapies i.e.. vitamin D that have been shown to prevent the flu.

Mechanisms of aluminum adjuvant toxicity and autoimmunity in pediatric populations - 0 views

  •
Adjuvants in vaccines are dangerous.  ASIA and macrophages myofasciitis are implicated in the damage caused by adjuvants, of which aluminum is the most widely known.  I love what the author says here: "safe assessments for vaccines have often not included appropriate toxicity studies because vaccines have not been viewed as inherently toxic".  This is not political but scientific.

Recent publication slams varicella vaccine as not cost effective, poorly effective in the prevention of chicken pox, based on flawed assumptions, CDC promoted 2 poorly designed studies, actually increased the incidence of shingles, and is less effective than natural immunity.  So, what is the reason to get the chicken pox vaccine again???

Vaccines backfire: Veterinary vaccines found to combine into new infectious viruses - 0 views

scary result.  Vaccine used in the prevention of ILT in chickens resulted in a new viral strain.  Two different virus strains were used.  These combined and resulted in a brand new viral strain. Apply this to our multi-dose vaccine schedule i.e. MMR

Maternal Immune Activation Alters Fetal Brain Development through Interleukin-6 - 0 views

  •
this study, though in mice, should strike fear in all parents.  This study found that the inflammatory biomarker IL-6 was critical in the development of autism and schizophrenia in the mice offspring.  Neuro development was altered by inflammation exposure during preganancy.  This was from a single injection of IL-6!  This in light of recent studies that show that the flu vaccine and other vaccines increase IL-6 production in pregnant mothers.  So, why did ACOG promote flu vaccines in pregnancy again?

Covid-19 : Over 40M People Are Double Jabbed - 0 views

  •
The NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has administered more than 40 million second doses following a bumper week that saw over 200,000 people coming forward for their second jab. Last week, more than 65,000 people aged 18 and over also stepped up to get their first dose of the Covid-19 jab. The NHS continued to encourage people to come forward for their first, second or third doses. Recent data from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) showed that two doses of the vaccine are not enough to avoid the Omicron infection, but a booster significantly increases protection against the variant. Since the start of vaccination programme, NHS England has administered more than 113 million jabs in total. However, more than 1.1 million people aged 18 and over have still not come forward for their second dose.
