Okay I know the title of this website is funny and maybe inappropriate but I really like the banner and I think it results in great  flow throughout the website. The banner is simple but aesthetically pleasing and to-the-point, and the same font is repeated throughout each recipe and the footer.

I really like this blog. I think it has great flow through the list of categories on the right side, it's all very close together. Also, the beginning of each post and/or new topic is bold and pink - this makes it visually appealing and organized.

Well this is an example of BAD flow. There are so many things going on here that I can't get organized. All of the titles are bold throughout the page but very spread out, there is a grid but no flow or organization. On the far left there are categories but that is one small example of flow on the website. Otherwise, I think the NY Times website is too scattered and needs a more consistent flow.

DD#7HW#1Print - The 75 Books Every Man Should Read - Esquire - 0 views

The page is a great illustration of the western flow of reading. There is not much that distracts the reader from the information being given out. The covers of the books guide the viewer to continue downward despite there being any actual guiding line of any sort. Each book is accompanied by a short caption that distinguishes the title of the book from a brief quote or description of the book. All this information is in a easily written font. This whole page is an un-ranked list and it just flows downward allowing the reader to follow the books downward.

This was a very useful site explaining what exactly creative commons is. It was my favorite site of all that I found. It explains; what is creative commons, how it works, who uses it, how it is funded, and where to find out more info about it. This site helped me learn more about creative commons, it showed me more then I knew and did so in a simple/clear way. Over all a very helpful and useful site.

-Fair use varies with each country. -If copyright says you can't use their work, you still can if it is under fair use. -correctly crediting the person's works does no mean fair use. -fees for a person's work.
  •
This provides some good information on fair use.

D7 HW#1 When People Look at Your Blog What Do They See? - 1 views

The viewer's eye in western society reads from left to right and top to bottom. When mixing images with text, readers' eyes travel in a backwards S or Z pattern. This website demonstrate how the Z pattern flows through the document.

DD7 HW1 This website has powerful (and beautiful) examples about flow. The author breaks the root of the movement in to subtopics like lines, shapes, color and tone so that you can really see what is happening.

Pages 2-5 of this book discuss the economic and philosophical justifications for copyright. This book excerpt helped me better understand the importance of copyright and why it is sometimes necessary.
