This is an interesting site in that the blogger spent two years analyzing the things that both limited and improved a blog. There are some helpful ideas not just about the presentation and content production aspects but also thoughts on having a vision/direction for the blog always in mind. Some of the key ideas about having a key strategy in mind and working within a well planned concept are useful ideas to bear in mind.

This site speaks about how to work in teams, importance of a leader, how to break down assignment and many other stuff.

This source is very helpful, it provides  skills in how to get started, show group leadership, and how to focus on your work.  Gives tips on how to notice dynamics of the group, how to collaborate, and how to share ideas in order to participate and interact with the group.

This page has it all! Aside from just telling an explaining what we can do it provides screenshots so we get an idea of the "trick" to see is we might want it. This offers help anywhere from blog rolls to navigation to addding sideshows and tabs to your page. VERY resourceful.

This article is good because it provides tutorials on how to improve your blog.  For example, there are descent free magazines themes or you can build your own.  Also it gives techniques for seo and plug ins.  

This website offers more information on the phenomenon of "Groupthink," how to spot it, and how to avoid it. This is mainly intended for the workplace, but a lot of it is relevant for school groups, too. The term "Groupthink" was coined by Irving Janis, who pointed out that Groupthink occurs when there is one strong, persuasive group leader, a high level of group cohesion, and intense pressure from an outside source to make a good decision. This site suggests that when a group is in the decision-making process, in order to avoid Groupthink, they should make a point to explore objectives and alternatives, as well as to encourage members to challenge each others' ideas. The "Team Writing" text mentioned using brainstorming as a tactic, in which ideas are allowed to flow freely without any form of evaluation from the group. This site mentions such a tactic, as well as spreading out contribution to include everyone and giving each member a different perspective so that someone will always be playing the "Devil's Advocate."

This website gives ideas to help improve your Wordpress blog through personality and passion

The last way this suggested on improving my blog made me laugh. I am not getting paid for this so I guess I am doing it for the right reasons. I didn't even know people blogged for money, I just thought of it more as a Public Service announcement kind of system. Where people could vent their ideas and opinions in a structured environment where they could receive feedback on such ideas. This page helped a bit due to the simplicity of it, being crunched for time within the last week I took the very brief descriptions and began to try to incorporate these facts into my blog to see if any imporvement would come about. 

Well I retract my statement from just moments ago. THIS website really integrates everything that we have been taught thus far and brings it around full circle.

This is an amazing resource of how you can improve your blog. There are 100 different tips of how to make it better. Her first two, Keep an Idea Incubator and Make a Mindmap of your Blog, are excellent, I think. A mindmap would really show what you quickly what you have been blogging about and what you can do differently.

Great website, and while not all of the tips will be of bennefit to us, there are a lot of great and hidden treasures to be found within this post. The fact that tip number two was to create a mindmap also made me smile because it connected with the rest of our course in full circle.

I like this website because it shares some of the same ideas that Manivoch went over in his article , except for this focusses on Google but the basic idea is there .

Good website because it gives 10 collaboration ideas and i think that can be very helpful when working with our groups.

Web site contains basic understanding of balance and all principle elements of design.

This website gives you the idea of composition and design principles that helps you understand the effect repetition in a design. There are several ways to use repetition in a design. Repetition gives motion so it can be used in all designs that have visual element.

This website was very informative and gave many examples demonstrating how to incorporate visual elements within page design. It also defines and describes design principles, many of which match up with the principles listed in Chapter 1 of our book on pages 12 and 13.

Gives great definitions of contrast and design. I think it will be a great resource now and later.

Contrast defines hierarchy, understanding relationships to convey a message.  It is used to hand in hand with the principle of emphasis in order to keep its emphasis.  Every element must be positioned with style, size, and distinguished with a specific importance.  This article gives an idea of how contrast is typically used by giving examples.  

This website I found was good at connecting one of the main ideas in chapter one about knowing your audience and asking yourself whats in it for the reader/consumer

I know this is directed more to posters but it has the same ideas and tips that are very helpful in deciding what is most important and how to present to draw the most attention.

Interactive Design This website gave me a little more insight to how cool you can make a website. It specifically concerns website design. It shows you some very interesting ideas on how to make a website stand out.

This webpage explores asymmetry in web design. The author mentions that many websites use the technique of balancing a large image on one side with text on the other. He talks about how an image can be directly tied with the text, such as an example of a product, or it could be more decorative in that it plays off an idea presented by the site but doesn't necessarily reflect the product or service. This site also explores the use of backgrounds and how to perhaps make a common two-column design more unique.

This webpage touched on the idea of public domain. I think it goes hand in hand with the two other websites that I bookmarked about Copyright and Fair Use. It also presented different sections that contain information about public domain in different countries, modified works, and compilations among other things.

This is a good example of how copyright is explained.  The comic shown in this article is very cute and original, gives us an idea of how we can copyright without knowing. 

This website is pretty useful because it has a lot of neat ideas on how to be successful in teamwriting. It also answers questions on everything from logistics to fairness of writing in groups.

This website explained exactly that of its title, the six common misconceptions about team work. I really liked this website because it gave me ideas on how to effectively manage a team by looking at what not to do. This website would be a good look for someone who is trying to improve teamwork.
