The Cultural Forum proudly presents the Pacific Northwest Art Annual. This yearly juried exhibition was created to highlight emerging and established artists in our regions art world. This year, we are excited to be showing the work of over 15 artists ranging from traditional painters to mixed media artists, from May 5th to May 31st. There will be a reception for the opening day on May 5th at 2pm, featuring the local art, free food, and live music. The 2014 winner of this juried competition will be also announced.

I have not been to the fair but would love to go sometime, from what I have read from the comments and heard form the community it is an amazing experience.

I can't wait and see the world class entertainers and performers, hand craft artisans and gourmet food creators at this amazing festival.

Hospitality House takes great pride in its Arts Program. It is the only free-of-charge fine arts studio for homeless and poor artists in San Francisco. Each year, the Community Arts Program (CAP) offers more than 250 artists the materials and space necessary to create, house, exhibit, and sell their artwork.

We are a talent delivery system. We select students and recent graduates (within 3 years of graduation) of the best creative programs around the country, and connect them with funding, expert advice, and logistical support for the production of art, media and design projects that examine urgent real world topics. Since 2006, we have partnered with students and recent graduates of the nation's top art schools to deliver a steady stream of innovative works to the public.

Last spring Eugene began showcasing local artists by placing 6-foot tall fiberglass duck sculptures in and around local businesses in the downtown area. The Eugene artists had a variety of themes for the feathered flock that represented Lane County life and culture.

"Chicago-based artist Theaster Gates has developed an expanded practice that includes space development, object making, performance and critical engagement with many publics. Founder of the non-profit Rebuild Foundation, Gates is currently Director of Arts and Public Life at the University of Chicago."

Emerald Art Association began in 1957 when a group of artists and art lovers took on the task of building an art league. Beginning under the auspices of the Willamalane Community Services, it soon became an independent entity. In 1974 this diligent group bought their own building at 421 A Street and shouldered the responsibility of owning real estate, while presenting fine art to the community and becoming a center for teaching and learning art.

"Over 50 artists from Oregon, Washington and Idaho will be at the Northwest Crossing Bend Spring Festival this year showcasing fiber, sculpture, jewelry, painting, wood, metal, paper and pottery arts. Support these artisans as they travel to Bend to introduce themselves to our community, or return to connect with a loyal fan base."

"The Works Progress Administration (renamed in 1939 as the Work Projects Administration; WPA) was the largest and most ambitious New Deal agency, employing millions of unemployed people (mostly unskilled men) to carry out public works projects,[1] including the construction of public buildings and roads. Through vision, leadership, and service, the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) works to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of community life. RACC serves the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Region, including Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties.RACC provides grants for artists, nonprofit organizations and schools; manages an internationally acclaimed public art program; raises money and awareness for the arts through workplace giving; convenes forums, networking events and other community gatherings; provides workshops and other forms of technical assistance for artists; and oversees a program to integrate arts and culture into the standard curriculum in public schools throughout the region through "The Right Brain Initiative.
