Krowji is Cornwall's biggest creative sector cluster, providing studios, workspaces, offices, the Melting Pot Cafe, meeting rooms and other facilities for a wide range of creative businesses at the Old Grammar School buildings in Redruth. It's home to a vibrant creative community which currently includes painters, jewellers, furniture makers, ceramicists, textile artists, web designers, theatre companies and musicians as well as several of Cornwall's key sector agencies such as Creative Skills, FEAST, Carn to Cove and Cornwall Film Festival.

This was an absolutely incredible experience. Watching the trailer opened my eyes to how a fire could affect a family and the emotions from the film really hit me hard especially when they were searching through the rubble trying to find things to salvage and the look on their faces. I found it interesting that she was finding herself and creativeness through the shadow boxes after the fire "freed" her from the duties of being domestic wife. It also illustrates the struggles a family if one wants to have a creative, art filled life and still lead a traditional family life. I cannot wait to watch the entire movie when it comes out. For me the film raises the questions: do we really need a traditional family in this day and age to feel complete and how does our relationships affect the "true" you?

StumbleUpon is a discovery engine (a form of web search engine) that finds and recommends web content to its users. Its features allow users to discover and rate Web pages, photos, and videos that are personalized to their tastes and interests using peer-sourcing and social-networking principles. I use StumbleUpon to bookmark creative or inspiring websites and to explore other art forms.

I like this StumbleUpon! I found the coolest page that shows how to fold a square of fabric into 12 or so different styles of sack- er wrap. I like the wine bag :)

I love using stumbleupon as another resource for viewing and reading about different art, music, activities, and other creative art sectors. I like how you can narrow down your searches to your specific interests.

This week's focus on media, technology and creative practices shines the light on the many apps we use and sometimes even overlook. We see the intended purpose the creators meant for the app and its many other uses.
