Fractured Atlas looks like an amazing organization, John. Talking about it class today really piqued my curiosity. I've never heard of it and am going to look more into it.

Burning Man is an annual event and a thriving year-round culture. The event takes place the week leading up to and including Labor Day, in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. The Burning Man organization (Black Rock City LLC) creates the infrastructure of Black Rock City, wherein attendees (or "participants") dedicate themselves to the spirit of community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.

My chemistry teacher in high school goes to burning man every single year. One class period he dedicated the entire hour and a half class on telling us about burning man and showing us his pictures.

I would love to one day experience Burning Man! I have heard nothing but great things about other people's experiences about the music, art, and community it brings together.

Brazilian graffiti artists join demonstrations against the Brazil World Cup, using the streets as a canvass to express their discontent. Protesters are angry about the government spending billions on World Cup infrastructure rather than basic public services. Graffiti artist Paulo Ito says the World Cup is an ideal platform for residents to demand action from the government
