Whilst, there's no problem in children using these apps in the classroom to develop their maths skills, there is a danger that the iPad becomes no better than a laptop or a desktop computer for the learning of number facts and rote learning. Limited individual computer accessibility, minimal hands-on training for teachers, and insufficient technical support are all obstacles many schools face.
