Es handelt sich um das komplett virtuelle Stadtmuseum von Turin. Angezeigt wird eine Karte, auf der viele rote Punkte verzeichnet sind. Jeder Punkt ist ein Eintrag auf der Karte. Und das partizipative daran: Jeder kann einen neuen Punkt setzen oder bestehende Informationen zu Orten, Gebäuden oder Denkmälern kommentieren.

Kein Kurator, Kunstkritiker, Museumsdauerbesucher oder Monokelbesitzer verbringt mehr Zeit damit, sich Kunst anzuschauen, als ein Museumswärter. Sie sind gezwungen, Bilder so lange anzustarren, dass ihre Augen die Kunst nur noch als weißes Rauschen ausblenden. Während sie also rummeckern, wenn jemand versucht, ein Foto zu machen, oder im Flüsterton Idioten anschreien, die sich mit der Nase dem Kunstwerk auf Eskimokuss-Distanz nähern, muss sich doch die Kunst, deren Hüter sie sind, bereits auf ihre Netzhaut eingebrannt haben, oder?

This report describes the demographic characteristics of U.S. adults that participated in the arts (such as concerts, plays, and dance performances) via electronic media (e.g., TV, radio, computers and portable media devices) in 2008, based on the Survey of Public Participation in the Arts (SPPA). Separately, the report examines broad categories of arts participation via Internet. The report also investigates factors contributing to the likelihood of some Americans experiencing art through media. Finally, the report considers the relationship between media-based arts activities and other types of arts participation, such as live attendance and personal arts creation. June 2010. 146 pp.

Die Montagsfragen des NRW Forum

Schule und Kultur gemeinsam in Aktion: Zusammen mit einem Theater,einem Museum, einem Orchester, einem einzelnen Künstler ein Projektentwickeln und durchführen, neue  kreative Impulse für den Schulalltagschaffen. (Kommentar: Bettina) Im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung der Museen können solche Initiativen interessante Beispiele sein.

Kannte ich noch nicht, vielen Dank! Das wäre übrigens auch eine interessante Zielgruppe, wenn es um Storytelling geht.

Amplified is a not-for-profit organization that uses social media to enable and encourage community participation around events, conferences and public conversations. The Amplified team facilitates and documents the sharing of ideas, opinions and resources, and aggregates this content online to enable the conversations from all parties to continue and spread.

But the simplest evidence I have for the statement that design impacts visitor contributions comes from a formative evaluation performed at LACMALab for their nano exhibition in 2004. In the report, evaluator Marianna Adams described a simple experiment in visitor response. LACMALab took one question--"What connections do you see between art and science?"--and created two ways for visitors to respond. In March, visitors were offered white 4"x6" notecards and golf pencils. In April, these were replaced with blue hexagonal cards and full-size pencils.

Interactive Radio: Exploring Visitors Stories using a Radio Interface: << ROOM OF OPINION>> Retracing the past: exploring objects, stories, mysteries (June 2003) was an exhibition held in the Hunt Museum The Hunt Museum and the Interaction Design Centre of The University of Limerick, in Ireland, jointly developed this exhibition. At that exhibition there was a Room of pinion where visitiors coul leave a message about the nature and possible use of some mysterious objects. Comments were collected, and visitors could listen to them in rel time through a radio in the Sudy room. The sound of earlier opinions also generated a sort of murmur that was heard in the same room. Comments were made using an interactive telephone. A visual analogue of the prcess of storing the comments could be seen in a dynamic graühic display representing a visual trace of these opinions. Winning performance from the Museum's Gladiatorial poetry slam that took place in September. Young poets used the theme of Roman London (Londinium) as inspiration. The slam was part of the Museum's Stories of the World project in which young people aged 14-24 are interpreting collections in new ways and co-curating an exhibition for 2012. A project by the MoMa. They asked their audience to tell their MoMa story. As a starting line they gave them the words: "I Went to MoMA and ...

HERE IS NEW YORK is not a conventional gallery show. It is something new, a show tailored to the nature of the event, and to the response it has elicited. The exhibition is subtitled "A Democracy of Photographs" because anyone and everyone who has taken pictures relating to the tragedy was invited to submit their images to the gallery, where they were digitally scanned, printed and displayed on the walls alongside the work of top photojournalists and other professional photographers.

Specifically, these museum guides are an outgrowth of a recent podcasting trend called "sound seeing," in which people record narrations of their travels - walking on the beach, wandering through the French Quarter - and upload them onto the Internet for others to enjoy. In that spirit, the creators of the unauthorized guides to the Modern have also invited anyone interested to submit his or her own tour for inclusion on the project's Web site, mod.blogs.com/art_mobs. I've spent much of the past three years on the road giving workshops and talks about audience participation in museums.
