Video site Vimeo announced last week the launch of Vimeo Video School, which has both instructions on how to make better videos and a directory of video tutorials. It's available at http://vimeo.com/videoschool.
This is a great video sharing site. I love the features, especially the ability to password protect AND embed else. The pricing is incredible and well worth it for classrooms that produce a lot of video. Check Vimeo out! Excellent community and some neat movie challenges that could be used at the high school level
Vimeo is a respectful community of creative people who are passionate about sharing the videos they make. We provide the best tools and highest quality video in the universe.
Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October, 2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
Fascinating time lapse video from the International Space Station showing a view of the globe including cities lit up at night, and the Northern Lights flickering in the upper atmosphere.
HD Educational videos about Adobe Flash. Tutorial themes could be drawing, animation, gaming, web design, actionscripting or any of the other cool things you can use Flash for.

"Most logos aren't designed in fifteen minutes, but most designers aren't Aaron Draplin. .. Watch as he sketches, brings his ideas into Illustrator, and tests and tunes the different iterations. The logos Aaron creates prove design can elevate any company or brand. Along the way, he provides tips for freelancing, finding inspiration, and providing clients context for logos that won't just live in PDFs."
Fantastic video on the power of how what we share with others can be more impacting than we think....after all, they may not seem special to us, but the idea may inspire something in someone else. I wonder if that's how our peers and students feel, too.
ifferent styles and approaches will suit different learners so no one video will necessarily be the most suitable for every age, stage or level of undertanding of any given topic
"In addition to the education channels or categories within the wider YouTube and Vimeo tools, there are some sites which have been specifically set up to share videos aimed at use in an educational setting (some adding further value to the videos with related resources):"
