      Does he mean confuse or does he mean that there is no way for an argumentative assignment to be interesting? I'm also curious if Reeves is reading any academic and/or professional blogs. Perhaps I'm just angry at this sentence because I'm a blogger who works hard to make my argumentative posts interesting and valid to my readers..

This drawback is most apparent to me when I read PDFs. Let’s say I have a reference with an attached PDF in Zotero and I want to read it on my iPad (the Mendeley App has a native PDF reader, but you can also open PDFs in external apps, like iAnnotate). If I’m using the Zotero→Mendeley Desktop→Mendeley iPad app method, and I open that PDF on my iPad, any annotations I make on the PDF will not show up in Zotero.

  • : I am not a fan compliance-driven leadership. However, in a culture of compliance, some teachers will only do what leaders mandate them to do. So, technology isn't required. Somehow, we treat it as if it's a matter of personal choice in a way that we would never do with pedagogy. Someone is still allowed to be a "good teacher" and use virtually no technology whatsoever. Failure isn't an option, but irrelevance is. Somehow we've screwed up our priorities. Somehow we've allowed teacher comfort level to drive what we use with students.
