Hospitality House takes great pride in its Arts Program. It is the only free-of-charge fine arts studio for homeless and poor artists in San Francisco. Each year, the Community Arts Program (CAP) offers more than 250 artists the materials and space necessary to create, house, exhibit, and sell their artwork.

a story in the Eugene Weekly from April 24 about alternative music venues and booking practices...lists some of the DIY organizations and individuals in town who are working to get a wider variety of artists in front of audiences outside of the bar/club scene.

Pinterest is a visual discovery tool that people use to collect ideas for their different projects and interests. People create and share collections (called "boards") of visual bookmarks (called "Pins") that they use to do things like plan trips and projects, organize events or save articles and recipes.

Pinterest is a visual discovery tool I use for all my DIY projects and whenever I want to get ideas/learn about current artistic trends.

According to the website, "Draw Something is THE addictive social drawing game and its now available free for Apple iOS and Android Devices! Draw and guess words, play cooperatively with friends or competitively with rivals." It's essentially a game in which you draw pictures on your screen, then send them to a friend who will attempt to guess what it is and then draw one back.
