This May, the Women's A Cappella Association (WACA) will be hosting the second annual SheSings Festival at The John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts in Eugene, Oregon.

The Potters' Quarter is Eugene's paint your own pottery store. They welcome artists of all skill levels and ages for a relaxing and creative experience.

I have tried a place like this in Eugene. It's near downtown. I think it's fun and I can be really creative to create something meaningful and personal. and it's easy to play with.

Emerald Art Association began in 1957 when a group of artists and art lovers took on the task of building an art league. Beginning under the auspices of the Willamalane Community Services, it soon became an independent entity. In 1974 this diligent group bought their own building at 421 A Street and shouldered the responsibility of owning real estate, while presenting fine art to the community and becoming a center for teaching and learning art.

Portland Saturday Market is celebrating its 41st year in the historic Old Town/ Chinatown neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.  Our weekly market features 252 booths showcasing a variety of arts & crafts sold by local Pacific Northwest artisans. Established in 1976, our market has a thriving membership of over 300 artisans.  "Every Saturday and Sunday from March through Christmas Eve the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood transforms into a thriving arts and crafts open-air marketplace. I love this! I love farmer's market, but this is more than just a farmer's market. It has many crafted art and different artists participated. It also create a lot of energy in downtown during Saturday morning. Kind of feel more like a big local gathering.

Shibori is a Japanese term for methods of dyeing cloth by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, and compressing. In Japan, the earliest known example of cloth dyed with the shibori technique dates back to the 8th century where indigo was the main dye used.

The Willamette Valley Music Festival is an exciting annual event held on the UO campus during the ASUO Spring Street Faire. The festival is planned by student coordinators for the students of UO and the community at large. WVMF features three stages, live music and cultural workshops. We focus on sustainability to produce a zero waste event. The WVMF is dedicated to enriching the cultural experience of Oregonians by showcasing new artists and ideas. Wampire After forming Wampire, Rocky Tinder and Eric Phipps steadily began to make a name for themselves in the same Portland, OR, scene that has produced labelmates STRFKR as well as Unknown Mortal Orchestra. It makes sense, then, that Wampire came to Polyvinyl's attention when the duo opened for STRFKR at a hometown Portland show and that UMO's bassist Jacob Portrait produced Wampire's debut full-length, Curiosity.

Hand in Glove is an itinerant national conference, first initiated by Threewalls in Chicago in 2011 and organized by Press Street in New Orleans in 2013. Its further iterations will be held in conjunction with The Network of Artists Spaces and Projects, a coalition of artists and artist organizers working to share resources, ideas and methods for artist-led and artist-centric spaces, projects and practices, of which Threewalls is a founding member. The next Hand in Glove will happen in 2015, date and location TBD.
