Portland Saturday Market is celebrating its 41st year in the historic Old Town/ Chinatown neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.  Our weekly market features 252 booths showcasing a variety of arts & crafts sold by local Pacific Northwest artisans. Established in 1976, our market has a thriving membership of over 300 artisans.  "Every Saturday and Sunday from March through Christmas Eve the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood transforms into a thriving arts and crafts open-air marketplace. Seeing the Market's staff delegate booth spaces with precision each weekend for so many years, most of the neighborhood has come to think of Portland Saturday Market as a business like any other. But it certainly was not always that way, and some surprising elements still lie at the core of this unusual non-profit operation."

I love this! I love farmer's market, but this is more than just a farmer's market. It has many crafted art and different artists participated. It also create a lot of energy in downtown during Saturday morning. Kind of feel more like a big local gathering.

The Market is open every Saturday, rain or shine, from the first Saturday in April through mid-November on the Park Blocks at 8th & Oak in downtown Eugene. The hours are 10 AM to 5 PM. On the weekend before Thanksgiving the Market opens its Holiday Market which runs weekends through Christmas Eve at the Lane County Fairgrounds.

Non-profit supporting art and cultural venues dedicated to increasing popular awareness of, and participation in, the arts of Oakland. My sister currently attends the University of California, Berkeley and says this is a really cool event! It is held on he first Friday of every month and is a great way to bring the Bay area community together through arts. There are also events held of Saturdays that are pretty cool to check out as well.

One of my favorite attractions of my home town, this saturday market really captures the aspect of this sector that we discussed in class regarding 'branding'; it advertises the fresh local produce along with selections of wine from local vendors.

May marks the return of our Concert Production Workshop series! This series will cover the ins and outs of putting on a live concert from both the venue and performer perspective. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about all that goes into putting on a live concert. From booking and promotion to production and band etiquette, these workshops will introduce you to the world of concert production taught by professionals in the field. Whether you are a musician or a fan, a casual observer or a college professor this will strive to give you a spectrum of knowledge for event planning and production as well as the occasional foray into abstract concepts of sound and light. We encourage both adults and youth age sixteen and up to participate. Die Antwoord is a South African group that consists of performers Ninja, Yo-Landi Vi$$er, and DJ Hi-Tek. I've never been to one of their concerts, but I've heard great things. According to everyone I've talked to about the group, their performances have been the most insane anyone has ever seen. Their concert is this Saturday at the Cuthbert Amphitheatre!! I strongly recommend attending this event!

Where Digital Meets Nature - Friday June 27 & Saturday June 28 - The Gorge Amphitheatre Paradiso is a really popular music festival to the Pacific Northwest. It is located at the Gorge every year and people from all over the region travel to enjoy 3 weekend camping experience with renown dj's and multiple stages playing live music and overall lively atmosphere.

Paradiso is a really fun event!! My cousin has attened multiple years and was the one who told me to attend. The atmosphere is something very fun and unique from other 3 day fesivals, which I enjoyed.

Description Our Urban Art, Food & Libations Walking Tour will take participants down alleyways, behind corners and thru one-way streets to view and learn about local urban art murals in the Midtown area of Sacramento. This is a fun event that my parents participate in coming up in my hometown! Enjoy good food and great art.

Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is a music festival held in the Spring, Summer, and Fall months in the United States. This year the biggest festival is located in Vegas! EDC includes a variety of artists. However, EDC mostly displays Dj's who remix a variety of different music types.

I attended EDC Vegas last summer, it was hands-down the most incredible experience I've ever had. Such a unique music festival, my favorite of many. There is nothing else quite like the EDC experience (:

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue in Eugene, Oregon that hosts more than 700 events and activities a year and acommodating local, national, and international art and performance groups. Located in the vibrant downtown community on Willamette Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, adjacent to the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center.

The Hult Center is a great organization! An event/concert called the, "Bohemian Dub Ball," showcasing art as well as music by RJD2, Medium Troy, Eskimo, and other local performers on May 10 will be held at the Hult Center! The event will have student and community involvement. A great way to enjoy a Saturday night and be exposed to a wide range of creative sectors.

Festival in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, May 24th

The 12th annual Sasquatch Brew Fest will move back outdoors on Saturday, June 7, 2014 to the 'Fermentation District' in the Ninkasi Brewery distribution parking lot located at 155 Blair Boulevard in Eugene. The craft-beer festival will feature live music by The Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Tatiamo, the Hank Shreve Band, and the Douglas County Daughters.

This is the 12th annual brew fest in Sasquatch. It will be the first one in a couple years to be held outside again which is great for all the nature dwellers. It will be featuring live music good food, and other goodies.
