    Me too...

A "simple" multi language interface would be a nice start, I can wait for languages filter and tag translator...
I'd be pleased to help with french translation if needed :)

Just uping this subject, in case I'd eventually get an answer on localization...

Diigo in different languages - 34 views

UI language localization
  • Thomas Laigle

I know i already asked for this feature in the past, but I am asking again since the V4 is out : please please consider offering a UI in different languages!!!

This would make Diigo the only social bookmarking tool with a localized UI (except for MisterWong, which just can't compete with diigo...), and would dramatically extends Diigo's userbase. I have several colleagues that would start using diigo if the UI was in french...

Is it at least part of your developping plans ?

Still no answer to my question...
    So I ask again :)
Is a localized UI part of Diigo developing plans ?

Privacy issue on messages - 81 views

message privacy

    Hi,

I've just realised that all the messages I sent through the "send" button of Diigo are public, and I didn't find a way to turn them private.

Is there a way to do so ?
  • Thomas Laigle

OK, Thanks for your quick answer...

but I have to do it one by one ?
Plus there is no way to define messages as private by default ?
    ...
Would be nice to have this possibility in the next version, cause it seems to me to be a serious flaw in the privacy management, specially in a pedagogical context...

    ... Ok, that's great :)

    Thanks a lot

Localization and help pages translation - 72 views

language localization translation
  • Thomas Laigle

    Hi,

I'm aiming to start using diigo with french language teachers, and was looking forward to the interface translation... Are these improvements already roughly scheduled ?

Plus I was willing to help translating the help pages, but I don't really know how to organise these pages in the wiki...
Actually i don't know if it's a good idea to start it before the UI localization...

Anyway still willing to help :-)

    Ok, i'm just impatient :-)

Keep on working guys, Diigo is just great !

I do agree, as i've been looking for a better alternative to del.icio.us for months...

I'm about to use Diigo as a tool for Internet pedagogical ressources management in my organisation. Hope it's gonna work fine :)

Is there a way to enter a description from the diigolet ?

I didn't find it so far, and it would be really usefull, as comments don't show up in rss...

Damm... just ask and BING!, wishes fulfilled... I just love it :-)
