Very good website! A lot of information about how to create a video resume. What I liked about this is that it even provided information about the equipment that is needed to make one! It also covered the legal aspect of video resumes which the other two sites that I found did not. You have to have a consent form for every person that is in your video and this is good to know. It also states when it is important to avoid using a video resume.

This site went into great detail. Like the book, the site described that the bigger something is, the more important it must be. It also makes an argument for the center being the most important of placing. But could that really be true if something bigger and more noticable was off center?

This an article explaining how social media has changed us in many ways. It splits up the ways into categories, and gives full explanations of how media has affected us in each area of category. It even states how social networks has helped kids get more involved with politics.

This website describes the CRAP principles and how they relate to your web page, it also has nice visual aids.

I like this website because of its title. How Crap is your site design? This website talks a lot about what chapter 6 was explaining. Such as how elements should be grouped or how repeating styles down a page can bring a cohesive feel.

I liked how this article gave specific websites that show exatly how it shows each principle that Manovich discusses in his book. This article gives a brief summary of each principle in an easy to understand and gives examples on how it is shown in websites.

I like how this website tells you on how in some groups some people might fail to do their work. It explains on how you have to create an "A" TEAM the 5 elements of team bulding which are aquaintance, tolerance, expression, appreceiation and mutual benefit. On each it gives good explanation and information for each word.

All three websites both describe rhetoric as a persuasive and effective form of speech. The use of rhetoric is when you want a favorable outcome in your favor. Through logos, pathos, and ethos rhetorical persuasion is possible. One website goes into more depth than the other two about what logos, pathos, and ethos is. Logos is the use of induction, pathos is creating an emotional link, and ethos is being viewed as trustworthy. This website explains how it is better to be open minded and create shared opinions, because then both sides can have something to agree on if they both have different views on the main topic. The Webster definition describes how this style of communication is ancient and dates back to the 14th century. Rhetoric can be performed with both speaking and writing persuasively. Free dictionary explains how rhetoric is more about the end result and not so much the process getting there.

I thought this blog was interesting because it shows how blogs are becoming an alternative communication method for corporations, advertisers, politicians and journalists. It gives you a brief definition of all the tools in blogging, how to involve your company in blogs, examples of blogs, benefits, and much more. It illustrates how communication of blogging through the internet is really changing the way we communicate in the corporate world.

This website is perfect in that it gives step-by-step instructions on how to write instructions. It also give examples as well as going over the basics. This will give me access to valuable information for my comic tutorial. I will look at their tips for instruction writing so that I'm writing quality instructions.

I bookmarked this website because it really supplemented some of the techniques described in Basics of Design. This website shows great examples of how to manipulate viewers path. The advertisements near the bottom of the page show how to create a visual path for someone with out using a human body.
