The purpose of this site is to give adults and students feedback on events happening, gatherings of music lovers, and to give insight into the quality of music. This site includes children's links to other websites such as Kids Music Connection and Children's Radio List. It also articles that include songs to sing, literacy learning, and events that take place within different regions of the United States.

Canto Alegre is a cultural corporation in Colombia that promotes children music. Canto Alegre brings together children and young instrumentalist to sing and play music together. Since music is for everyone, you can download the songs for free. The songs are mostly in spanish. Teachers that work in a multicultural environment can learn and adapt the songs.

It contains resources for both teachers and students, including descriptions of the course, articles about teaching AP Music Theory, score reports, and a listing of professional development opportunities and seminars. This is the entire American Folk Song collection. This excellent resource can be used by educators to print out folk songs to use to teach their students specific music skills such as singing, audiating, pitch, and rhythm. The website even gives activity ideas to use for each specific song.

The purpose of this website is to provide a young music student with resources to support music learning. The learning focuses mostly on recorder, pitch identification, and aural identification. Also, there are videos that are available for students to sing along. Overall the site is a kid-friendly that is easy to navigate. The website would be a good resource for recorder skills, aural skills and pitch identification. Elementary or beginning student would benefit from using the site.

This is the official ACDA website. You can find information about conferences, as well as access resources and connect with colleagues. If you teach choir, being a member of ACDA is a must.

The purpose of this resource is wide and varied. Not only does this resource provide choral music educators with a professional development community but also looks at a range of topic regarding singing both in the individual and choral setting. Membership in this organization does cost a fee but there are many benefits for music educators who teach choir.
