Quizilla is a fun site for kids 13 on up to use to create/share: quizzes, stories, polls, and poems. This site does not allow anything inappropriate to be posted as their are strict AUP's in place. There is also a nice web 2.0 aspect to allow users to rate other people's work.

"Call it counterintuitive clickbait if you must, but Forbes' Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry made an intriguing argument when he granted the title of "Language of the Future" to French, of all tongues. "French isn't mostly spoken by French people and hasn't been for a long time now," he admits," but "the language is growing fast, and growing in the fastest-growing areas of the world, particularly sub-Saharan Africa. The latest projection is that French will be spoken by 750 million people by 2050. One study "even suggests that by that time, French could be the most-spoken language in the world, ahead of English and even Mandarin." I don't know about you, but I can never believe in any wave of the future without a traceable past. But the French language has one, of course, and a long and storied one at that. Story creator 2 crea narraciones con audio, texto, personajes, paisajes. Puedes registrar tu centro educativo para empezar a narrar de forma colaborativa. Está enfocado para crear, leer y escuchar cuentos sobre mitos y leyendas en inglés, aunque puedes hacer las creaciones en la lengua que desees. La interfaz está en inglés y cuenta con numerosos ejemplos ya listos para utilizar sobre este aspecto cultural, que puede utilizarse en un aula de inglés como segunda lengua, o en cualquier otra área en la que nos interese hacer narraciones digitales o hablar sobre mitos, leyendas, tradiciones, etc.

Story Jumper es un atractivo creador de cuentos. Con esta herramienta puedes crear y compartir narraciones, además de montar tu propia aula virtual de narración, una opción de trabajo colaborativo muy interesante. La interfaz está en inglés.

En cuanto a la producción del video digital, si bien los editores de video nos proporcionan gran cantidad de herramientas para realizar grandes producciones y los sitios de hospedaje nos otorgan la posibilidad de subirlos sin problemas, es importante enfocarse sobre el resultado, el propósito educativo, para no convertir una tarea posiblemente faraónica en un resultado que solamente provoca distracciones. Los elementos distractores son muchos y compiten en la atención del que mira. No sólo no se da el proceso de inmersión propio del cine (sala oscura, actividad concentrada en mirar/escuchar, ángulo visual amplio) sino que el ángulo visual es muy pequeño y los estímulos externos muchos y variados. Los videos para educación deberían ser, entonces, bastante breves y de calidad suficiente como para mantener la atención del estudiante.
