    Nice article. Side note about Diigo URLs. Couldn't Diigo truncate everything to the right of the '?' in URL references when it stores it in the database? Its going to be pulling from the same HTML resource, so shouldn't the annotations and Diigo bookmarks point to the same location?

      Importing and overwriting If you bookmark something before an import, or whilst awaiting the result of an import - and if your bookmark has a match in the imported data set: * I guess that the metadata of the bookmark (title, tags and maybe description) will be overwritten by the import.

      Bookmarks always default to public (not private) in Diigolet 3.1b572. Beware!

  • I’ve never seen an entrance in a monopolized market (social bookmarking) with this strength and resolution.

    The directions don't work and don't make sense how to click import/export, none of that stuff applies so how do I add them because the way it is this is no use to me if i have to manually enter each bookmark. I don't know what the URL is supposed to link to so i just put in anything since it wouldn't take my entry without a URL

    At the bookmarked URL http://blog.diigo.com/2010/07/01/diigo-v5-0-collect-highlight-then-remember there are no instructions re: import bookmarks Could you instead post a topic that mentions the correct URL? Thanks.
