thanks for testing and thanks yc c for the hint to the bookmarklet, will now use it in case of failure! :)
The problem persists until now, yet as said I didn't use the diigolet but the Chrome extension.

Good to here it could be reproduced Graham. Interesting also this is the same on a different OS.

as I often visit the forums and have to go there painstaking with several clicks and scrolling etc., I want to have a link to the forums in the diigo toolbar drop-down menu! There's so much stuff in there, which I don't use at all, but really important interaction features like the forum are missing!! Can't believe it...

Still I don't like the unclarity, when I post something here in the forums, if it gets read, mostly it seems not, or only late or it'll just be somehow not really noticed. I know you've got maybe a lot to do, but "customer service" and "listening to the customer" is a priority and as said, if you can't achieve this with this forum, that's ok, but to avert the future frustration for both of us when I "have to" write you a private message (because I feel like it gets no attention any other way!! Forum doesn't work, e-mail even worse!!), you should really register on GetSatisfaction.com and do the support stuff there!!

Doesn't seem so. The single bookmark (I was away some days, good luck...) I made today, doesn't show up on http://delicious.com/.

What I now discovered:

I seems to have PARTLY not worked since 28th of July as somebody said.

It works now, BUT only when I save NEW bookmarks, when I try to RE-save "old" bookmarks, that didn't show up in delicios.com (aka del.icio.us) yet, they still won't show up NOW in delicious.com!! :(
Could this be an issue with the toolbar?

Please help!!

I'm not quite sure if my problem is created by Mozilla Firefox v.3 and/or one of its extension or your newest toolbar version, but it's definitely an annoying bug:

Everytime I restart, "normally" the diigo toolbar is not showing up in the main toolbar of Firefox (that's were I have put it, but that worked all the time before, so not the problem), it's somehow hidden.
I get this issue only solved if I log out and log in again. At first, I though it is only, because I was logged out, but it does also happen now (at the moment it's like that again! -.-) even when I'm logged in!

Of course my additional question is, why does diigo log out ifself most of the time I restart?
This wasn't happening before some weeks. Again I don't know if it's the fault of FF3, although I used Flock v.1.x before Mozilla Firefox v.3 ...my configuration: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (32bit), Mozilla Firefox extensions: http://twurl.nl/bwg3ob

"Always clear my private data when I closed firefox" is unchecked.
I also accept third-party cookies. I have added diigo.com to the cookie whitelist in CCleaner.
Hope that helps, because my whitelist was gone somehow.

I want to ask, if there's any tool for diigo (in the pipes maybe?) for checking bookmarks (at least manually triggered) for errors or total "loss"? I mean, I currently go through all the old, strange, boring and now not-existing-anymore hyperlinks I bookmarked around 2004 - 2006 in Mozilla Firefox v.1.0 and imported then way back in 2006 into my diigo account. I'm just running into so many 404 Page Not found and non-existing errors...

And what I also do miss, is a preview windows (screenshot or so) or sth. similar.
Maybe that would speed up my deletion process (90% of the bookmarks at least ;)).

And hey, I'm currently stressed, as it is stupid annoying, that diigo doesn't instantly recognize retagging! Sometimes I resave a slightly other URL, so it is ok to delete the old bookmark, but if not, I'm doomed, because I was so stupid sometimes now, to first retag and then delete. I'll now delete everything and retag completely...

Of course I did reload, when possible retagged items should be filtered out (I delete only inside my tag filter, of which I acknowledge of course which are old, as these have a special tag!), but as said, this doesn't help, if it don't works instantly. Why?? Same goes for del.icio.us, also posted there with some time delay...

one thing I don't understand, is why you haven't implemented to option of hiding / "deleting" the "Diigo" menu, that is "installed" into the navigation toolbar of Mozilla Firefox / Flock after installting the "diigo toolbar" ? Because I think this was criticized several times! At least from my side. ;)

So, PLEASE do make an option available in the toolbar options to hide this one!
Because I try to use as much space for fast access bookmark icons (I can send you a screenshot) or at least do not waste the space with navigation bar items, I don't need!
I hid all except "File" and currently "Bookmarks" (will hide this maybe soon too) and now only "Diigo" and "Delicios" resides there! I don't know how to bring the del.icio.us toolbar developers to reason ;), but I think you shouldn't handle this issue as bad as del.icio.us itself does. ;)

I'm totally happy and content with the possibilities available via the diigo icon, so I think, one should be able to hide the other stuff if needed, as I can also do it with the icons.

This seems to have been an issue not only in v.3.1.5.4 but also 3.1.5.1 and maybe before!
I just discovered it now!

I do use Flock v.1.1.3, Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2.

I only currently recognize, that I don't have to go through all the hassle and search the for me not rememberable path to my profile & settings. I see, there's a drop-down menu for this on the right!

But why on the right side??

Everything else is straight aligned on the left side. Although I don't like drop-downs anyway (as I can't and will never remember where anything went & goes!!), I'd at least ask for the favor of not only moving the stuff to the left site, but also more importantly, IF you use TWO horizontal menus, please do always the second (level of the) menu(s) to display there, what is beforehand hidden in the drop-down menu!
(As especially concerning Profile, Settings etc.)

(Me personally would favour a "crowded" "show-all" sidebar with several levels at hand, but of course most people like it better to think hard. ;-P I'm more the David Allen kind of "pull it down somewhere and forget about it forever" type. ;))

as I now found out, I cannot say anything about it, I just don't understand it. I know, that single times I somehow might activated the new One-Click-Button, but that isn't the point, as this happens anyway over and over again. The strangest thing of all is now I found out that bookmarks were saved only in del.icio.us and not in diigo. Or maybe a issue with the del.icio.us toolbar / buttons? Might only be an accidental activation as I don't use the del.icio.us buttons, except for opening the bookmark site itself.

I somehow still think this might be my fault but I'm wondering, as this never happened neither with diigo nor del.icio.us and/or the corresponding buttons / toolbars before the new diigo v.3 toolbar came out! As you said, the keyboard-shortcuts are disabled.

Sorry for not knowing anything specific. I could only send you the flock error console contents, but I doubt this'll help you at all. ;-)

Just keep tuning & tweaking at the issue might resolve itself. ;-)

currently, the new diigo drop-down menu in the main firefox toolbar (where "file" etc. resides, don't know the exact english term sorry) caught my ey. But as I "compressed" all necessary links only into "file" with the extension "Menu Editor", I'd also like to have the drop-down menu removed! But I can't remove it, neither in the diigo toolbar options, nor via Menu Editor (it isn't displayed there).

How can I do this (manually)? Please make the addtion / removal possible via checkbox in the options menu for the future!!

1.1. The 'My bookmarks' "auto"-filter function including the icon? (I don't want to go to the sidebar and start typing every time I want to access my often used bookmarks as online banking etc.)
1.2. Why can't I see, that / if a bookmark is already bookmarked as before? I want a visible sign back!
1.3. You expanded the drop-down options of the main diigo icon, but why can't I bookmark with it like before? What's the problem with that:
1.4. Why is there no "bookmark" icon, but only the text version? Why not let the user decide??

2. del.icio.us bookmarking isn't working with me, although I have added the account details online.

How do you mean? I mean, what did improve practically? ;-)

But ok, I now found out, how it works / how you thought about it. I had to resort the icons, as you have to know, I sorted out several of the icons immediately after installing the toolbar, as I didn't expect you'd change all this.

Not exactly, there are now two additional buttons.
Also currently, if I quick-save a bookmark and assign tags afterwards (as there's no other way now, if I want to have an icon and no text ("bookmark")...*not happy*), del.icio.us does NOT save the newly assigned tags! (Saving of changes was always successfully also within del.icio.us, if I think of my bookmarking / tagging actions until now.)

Why was this too complex?? I found it pretty convincing and made for immediate "to go" use! :)
I am just unhappy with so many buttons and things to use / flip through, when it was all within easy reach before. Although I do say this mostly with the main bookmarking icon / function in mind.
But maybe I do not have the usability feeling/behavior of the majority of people...

I know the function of "One-click bookmark / QuickD" and especially because of that, I don't understand, why the bookmarking-status is only displayed within this icon!! In my case, I do not use this function at all, as I think, (individual) tagging (out of a range of tags) is essential to (social) bookmarking!

Also you didn't answer my question ;-) why there is now for the normal bookmarking procedure (incl. tagging) only a text version and not an (additional) icon version, even if I have "Show Icons (only)" activated? (I do have this option activated.)

Yes I did. It seems, it now also worked / works now again. Don't know if this was caused by either diigo oder del.icio.us or maybe one browser I used. I'm happy if it just works from now on. ;-)

I just have to say THANKS! =) The new diigo v.3 is great!!
I especially love it, that the login details for additional bookmarking sites are now stored centrally online, as I now can seamlessly bookmark also in IE7, in which I had severe problems before with this! :) I also like the new icons / the possibility to work with them also in the toolbar!
I also recognized your really smooth implementation of your toolbar into Firefox / Flock, so I can rearrange all the icons and also put them into the icon pool without losing anything! :)
The new community features and the MUCH better display design does really help when searching sth. and is great fun! ^_^
