This is how to apply grades to track.

If you open the route using QuickDrive Mode in Driver and place your consists using both the Global Consist Library and the QuickDrive panel you can save a driver session and then re-open it again and make changes using GCL and QuickDrive to the saved session. You can do this over and over again. You don't have to make changes in surveyor to rolling stock if you have upgraded to a version that has QuickDrive available. Sorry I don't remember where it was added but it is in SP2.

On this topic, I hope anyone can help.... I downloaded the DS1_16m - TGV track from the DLS and the track is causing the game to seriously slow down which is a pitty because the track loks really really cool espically around curves and changing track. Do I need a graphices card for my Windows XP or is there such a thing. My computer is - Intel Core2 Duo processor T5500 1.66GHz 667MHz FSB 2mb L2 cache Intel graphices media accelerater 950 - I hope this is any good:o Any replys would be a big help.

First click on edit session rules scroll down to Portal timetable rule click on it click edit omitting portal (name of your portal) click on add new timetable (00:01 should work) click on add existing saved train choose train click on add driver to consist choose driver click on green arrow choose Drive to-Drive to trackmark-or Drive via trackmark.

Ive been doing this for years, dont use a trigger as another train can sometimes set it off. You need a spare driveable asset (I use a car parked in the station car park)

Your cattle question...the reason you can't send your AI driver to the packing plants is the way the layout is setup for the Class 1 trains that are running. If you look at the layout in Surveyor you will see that there are direction arrows

i have one that works exactly like the junction controller. you drop the cube down in surveyor and tell it what signals to link together. one as a parent and the other as a child. there are two ways of doing this. one way the child signal will display exactly what the parent signal does, and the other way is that it only clones the danger state, under any other aspect they are automatic (normal). it was a small side project that never really got developed fully but it would be worth a try. get it here (http://www.jointedrail.com/content/Freeware/Trackside/SignalLink.cdp) and let me know how it goes. i also have a token block controller that is very similar but is more complex to set up, you can have multiple triggers and signals. I'm aware that someone created an 'invisible wagon' to trigger level (grade) crossings. If it's freely available that might be an alternative. It's KUID2: 209453:99991:1 on the DLS
