Unigo is another great college research source. I particularly like this sight because its focus is on the opinions of students attending the college, with less insight from the college itself. The information I found on Unigo was honest, with both good and bad responses about my college. It was a great way to look at my "dream schools" from a different point of view through comments, photos, and videos. Unigo has a really great, straightforward college search that narrowed down my top colleges. Also, Unigo had great tips on college essay writing, and filling out applications.

Again, another great tool for college research. This site is very organized. Though it shares a lot of the same qualities as other college research sources (finding a college, scholarship chances, admission chances, etc.) my favorite part of it is how organized the student reviews are. Through Cappex, you can choose one of your favorite colleges, and see one students review of the school in entirety, then scroll down and see the next students review of the school. It is organized in a way that you can see clearly multiple students opinions about the same area of the college. Cappex is easy to navigate, and another strong source to use for college research.

This site allows you to look at reviews of colleges written by alumnis or attending students. This gives you a different perspective of that college. It also allows you to know things that college tours simply don't tell you. They also have scholarship opportunities that you can apply for. On top of that, you can see rankings of schools and research further into each school you are interested in. I have found this website very helpful in my college search, and I have even applied to a few scholarships on this site.

Once you have an account, you can search any college you want and it will bring you to an information page. The college pages consist of student reviews, which in my opinion, are the most reliable source! You can look through individual tabs such as summary, about the school, about the students, about the campus and about the location. Under each of these tabs are an abundance of information and reviews that help you fully understand the college. The best tool on College Prowler is the Applicant Status. With this tool you can plug in your GPA and SAT/ACT scores, and it will place you among statistics showing people admitted, denied, wait listed, and attending. It is a great way to see where you stand in terms of college admittance!

I know this seems like an anti productive sight to be using for college planning and research, but for me (and potentially you!) Facebook is a great source! Facebook provides an easy way to communicate with people about college. Personally, I talked with students attending the colleges I was researching, and had the ability to easily plan visits with them on campus! I used the site to follow my friends college experience through their Facebook profiles, pictures, and chats. Facebook is a source to take advantage of in a positive way to research and choose colleges.

This was the most useful resource that I used in my essay on Susan B. Anthony and how she impacted American History; I specifically needed information about her life from when she was a young adult (20's) to her death. The Susan B. Anthony House does not include very much about her childhood, which was fine for my purposes. The information is reliable because the Susan B. Anthony House isn't a bias source; it is all facts and doesn't have include any opinions about her life. I would definitely recommend this website to anyone who wants to learn about Susan B. Anthony's adult life. The organization of the site was wonderful and the material was easy to understand. I was able to find information about Susan B. Anthony's rebellion, campaigns and petitions. I used this source to support the idea that Anthony effect America's History. When learning about Susan B. Anthony I realized that throughout the world equality still hasn't been fully achieved; in some places women are still paid less than men.

It is important not to trust these lists completely, since everyone has their own opinion about what makes a school the 'best." But these schools are a good starting point in the research process.

This website is a writing lab, and can answer almost any question you have about grammar and citing your sources. It is not an automatic bibliography-maker, but it provides examples and steps for how to make your own. I think this is a very helpful source. I know it is reliable because it is through a college, and it was recommended to me through a teacher. I recommend this source more strongly than easybib because by doing the work yourself you will remember how to do it in the future, and the action of writing your bibliography cements why giving sources credit is important. I find this source to be helpful all through the writing process, as I cite in-text sources, struggle with grammar, and make a works cited page at the end. It has helped me feel more confident and independent while proofreading because I get a second opinion without asking the teacher.

Blender Cookie is a tutorial/infomation site that helps new users of Blender. Blender is a 3D modeling program that is free to all users but is open to donations. People use blender to make cool 3D pictures and to make a 3D animation. Blender Cookie helps with understanding the basics of blender. Although Blender Cookie is informal it is really slow pace and I would not recommend it for use others may have other opinions.
