Yes Smithsonian is an excellent resource and much more academic in nature than thinkquest.

I was trying to open this site, but it is a little different how you are posting these articles. You might be starting and not giving the comment option right from the home page. Look at someone else's and you will see the word comment right by their name. Instead I am cllicking on your title and it is bringing me to this thread. It is not showing I have made a comment though.

This looks like an approachable source. I did a little searching on this site and thinkquest in general and learned that these are educational pages made by students for students. The sites available have won a competition. The pharoah page you used was done by or for an elementary school in 2000. Perhaps this why it is written in a voice that explains the word eternity for the reader.

Charlie Rose interview Bashir Assad of Syria and his response to the possible missile strikes from the U.S. This was done before Secretary of State John Kerry said in a press conference that Syria could eliminate all of their chemical weapons and nuclear program that it could avoid a strike. Russia and Syria both responded positively to this offer. President Obama is speaking tonight 9/10/13. How does Obama's point of view compare to Assad's?
