this article talks about Russia and US's deal and how its going to take a long time to actually seize and destroy all of Syria's chemical weapons because we can only destroy what they tell us they have.

There are a lot of other really interesting points raised about the challenges of these goals and Bashar's calling of the rebels terrorists and the blurring lines of who has chemical weapons. 1000 tons is a lot of weaponry to dispose of and how can the international community actually believe that this is all of the weapons. What about the rebel who feels all the international community cares about is chemical weapons? Are they right?

The Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, says his government will surrender all chemical weapons to international experts. He claims that the rebels might want to block access to the weapons and trying to obtain said weapons might be dangerous. Is this statement trustworthy? How will the experts handle this information to insure safety and peace?

The ongoing Civil War creates many threats and challenges to the UN chemical team. It would be interesting to do a follow up to see how successful they have all been.

This is a well written book about the evolution of weapons and how different cultures have changed the basic shape and styles.
