Summarize: This is a music theory website which I used for a music composition course that I was taking. Common chord progressions was just one of the lessons from the website that I used. In this article that I used the main points were major and minor chord progressions. The purpose of this article is to show what chords most often progress from one chord to the next and the different chords that progress in a major vs. minor key. The theory website has many topics ranging from the basics: dotted rhythms to harder more complex things: cadences and neapolitan chords. They are all very nicely ordered and categorized if you have any specific things that you need to know about. Once you have selected a topic of interest a paragraph appears on the screen. There are two arrows at the bottom that allow the reader to read the page a sentence at a time along with the model that explains what you are reading. It is almost like a PowerPoint but you control the speed at which it moves. Review and access: This is a useful source, because the website explains everything in a clear and easy to understand way. There are pictures to guide your learning. When using other resources I find that they are hard to follow because of their advanced musical terms. Also, the models on other websites often go with one part of the paragraphs and not the other so it gets confusing. He made this video to help other people who are eager in building domes and to tell people about his business of selling these domes to people who don't want the excitement of building their own. The video uses metal piping and it covers cutting the metal, drilling holes, pressing it, attaching them, the math, the construction, what materials to use, and how to cover the dome. This video will be the most helpful tool I will use during my ILO, because as of October 7th, I have decided to use metal piping for a greenhouse and this video is the perfect step-by-step visual instructor. I will basically follow these steps exactly with maybe some background research and experiments from other websites. I have spent a lot of time on YouTube looking for other videos of this caliber, but this one is by far the best. I've read the reviews and comments for this video and it looks like other people have successfully made domes using this video. This video has already proven a huge help to me. Through this video I have made decisions like what materials to use, how to attach them, and how to do the math that is necessary in making a dome. This source is easy to use, and when you miss a step it is easy to go back and watch it until you have it down perfectly. This website includes lots of information on speaking Spanish. If you are interested in culture that I would look elsewhere, but if you have a Realidad's book along with the book codes found in each lesson, than this is a very practical website for studying and practicing your vocabulary. Review and access: Phschool is a super useful source when studying or practicing. There is a test preparation for each lesson and I use it to see if I have understood all the vocab in each chapter. Other sources haven't been as helpful to me, because they don't follow the Realidad's lessons exactly and don't have all the concepts in our chapters. The information given is definitely reliable because it goes along with a Spanish textbook that our Spanish teacher from Spain recommends using to study. I would recommend this website to anyone who is learning Spanish, because it has helped me learn mine. In the beginning of the lesson everything is fairly easy and as you work your way through the practice the Spanish gets harder until you eventually get to the test preparation. This site was very useful for me because there was a lot of information in each of the categories. The only drawback with this website is that it goes really in-depth, so if you want to know a specific thing about Italy Climate Change then you may want to choose a new source. The information is definitely reliable seeing as I have compared it to other sources and I would recommend this site to people who want to know about climate change in Italy or Europe in general. The source different from other sources I've used because it is actually a slideshow, not an article (which is helpful in the sense that you do not have to read a lot, it is very short and concise information). The slideshow gives plenty of information about the five senses of the body and the various organs related to those senses. I took notes on the entire slideshow. This source is useful because, as I mentioned before, it is written out in the simplest form possible and most important terms are highlighted. This was a work that I used for an American Studies paper. It was about how women gained power during World War One, and how they expressed that power through writing. I was able to access this article through Ms. Burdett's JSTOR account, which was a very useful website because you had access to work that wasn't published on the broader internet and you could keep it all bookmarked together. I knew this was reliable because it was associated with a college, and the author used in-text citations so I could double check her sources if I wanted to. However, it was biased because the author was writing a persuasive piece. She started the work with a debatable thesis and gave evidence throughout the article to support it. This was one of the most challenging articles I've read because it was written at a college level, but the information was at a higher level as well. The author went very in-depth, and while the sheer amount of information was sometimes hard to sort through, it gave me better details in the end. The only drawback I would tell someone else who wanted to use this source was that it was on JSTOR, so I needed Ms. Burdett's password and permission whenever I wanted to use it.

Many people seeking to rid their gardens or certain areas of weeds or invasive species choose to use this technique, as it is better for the soil, doesn't leave residual chemicals in the soil, and solarization actually helps the soil become more fertile and accommodating, so that beneficial microbes can repopulate quicker, and the nutrients the soil yields are better. The site also gives people a general idea of how long this process (solarization) can take, and how to carry it out: moisturized soil is cleared of debris, a tarp placed on top of the soil in a time of year where temperatures can superheat the soil, and then left for around 2-4 weeks to kill all plant life and bacteria/pathogens under the tarp, so the soil is left fertile. This technique reminds me of how farmers used to burn their crops to ensure more fertile soil and the plants growing back healthier. It shares the same idea, but unlike with fire, this technique doesn't damage the soil and takes less time for the plant life to recover. This is an interesting idea, and I had heard of solarization before I began studying it, but I never understood exactly what it was good for. The intuitive layout lets the user go through the brain, slice by slice, to reveal actual MRI data and drawn pictures that are clearly labeled to indicate surface and subcortical structures. You can zoom in on actual microscope pictures to reveal cells in the brain and see detailed pictures of how they connect. The detailed pictures use horizontal axis (top of brain to bottom), coronal axis (front to back), and sagittal axis (side to side) scans so that you are able to develop a picture of a three dimensional map of the human brain, in your mind. One of the hardest things to picture when I first began researching about the anatomy of the human brain, was picturing where all the subcortical structures were positioned in relation to each other. By using the many informative anatomical and chemical maps, I was able to clear up the issues I had had with trying to visualize a three dimensional model. This source is very reliable, as it uses real images for the slices you see as you navigate the brain. This source also comes from the University Institut für Anatomie, so the data was observed first hand there, making it reliable. I will be using this information that I have gathered to add to my brain portfolio document, and will be a useful tool if I decide to make a three dimensional model of the brain.
